breadandcheese Posted 31 January 2007 Share Posted 31 January 2007 I guess we're not playing with a midfield anymore. Just hoof it to Horsfield. Feed the Horse and he will score.

Thracian Posted 31 January 2007 Share Posted 31 January 2007 There's Beswick horses on Ebay that are cheaper and more likely to "score" for their owners... Can we assume "Young and Hungry" has been buried now for lack of nerve, convicion and inspiration? Never mind. If he arrives he gets the same chance as the others. No less likely to come off than Cadamarteri.

Mort Posted 31 January 2007 Share Posted 31 January 2007 what the fook! this isn't fantasy football you know, we can't attract these kinds of players!! try and find decent players on a shoe string who will want to come to sorry club like ours. I'm going to say this once more! I AM NOT SAYING... SMITH, BAINES ETC... ARE REALISTIC I WAS ATTEMPTING TO ILLISTRATE A POINT! WE COULD GET SMITH IN AND HE STILL WOULDNT HELP US... ITS A HYPOTHETICAL SENARIO DESIGNED TO ILLISTRATE A POINT!

who-izzet Posted 31 January 2007 Share Posted 31 January 2007 Best deal? Get rid of the clubs best midfielder to bring in ANOTHER old, failing striker? Great dealing in the transfer market RK I doubt he has better options. I'm sure he will bring in a creative player before the day is over but this is where the club is at now. Horsfield has a proven track record, his goal ratio is actually quite good.
