Geo V Posted 9 March 2007 Posted 9 March 2007 Im not RK`s biggest fan but I am not his biggest enemy either but what I will say is that people only read and hear what they want to when it comes to people that they have already made there minds up on. Some people also dont like changing there minds and whatever RK says is almost laughed at by some. I have no problems with the way that he sends the current players available to him into a game and am again thankful for him dragging us out of a relegation battle again although this one is different as he was the one who put us in it !!

"We've got to be "organised and competitive" sounds just right for another defence-based approach whereby we try to smother the opposition and pinch a goal. But at least he's said his aim is to win which would mean continuing to push up on people if we get in front so I'm grateful for short straws and look forward to the words being put into practise

To me being organised (in other words discplined) and competitive (in other words fighting for the ball without giving the opposition time to settle) are a given. Something every team should do as a matter of course. What Kelly never mentions is the rest...being inventive, attacking in numbers, supporting in numbers, making things happen, varying our point and style of attacks. That's probably because, with his selections, he rarely gives himself the opportunity to do those things. When he does I might start being impressed.

I have no idea, I can give a list of alot of 'theoreticals' etc, alot of the 'available' managers won't also fi the bill, so we will have to see what happens in the summer. Mandaric, holds the key, it will be his decision to either waste time with RK, or go for someone that will bring long term success!!!
