Fox in a Box Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 OK today at 1pm we will find out whats in order for the coming term. I'd like to add that thanks to RK for keeping the foxes in the championship last year, results were needed at the time and he stepped upto the plate. Now, with no money to spend and his hands tied so to speak I'd like to say a thanks for last year, It could have been curtains... He took over from a very poor CL and had to use HIS players.. Sorry its not worked out ROB, a nice genuine man who really did have the Club at heart Good luck in the future, if your time at LCFC is up.
MC Prussian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Thank you, Robert Kelly. Thank you for constantly redoubling the efforts on the training ground without any visible impact.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 IS REDOUBLING EVEN A PROPER WORD? If not thank you Rob for creating this word!!!

Lester LXXIV Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Thanks Rob, much appreciate your efforts with severe lack of funds and thanks for keeping us up last season!
Thracian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 He deserves thanks for his part in keeping us up. He also needs to get himself back to basics and have a good think about what he wants to stand for as a football coach and manager.

STUHILL Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I never like to see a Leicester manager get sacked but like CL, it had to be done. He was great in the short-term and should be remembered for saving us from relegation. A very nice guy (which probably caused his downfall) who I hope goes on and becomes a successful manager elsewhere. I think he would do very well in the lower leagues. Thankyou ROB! For Leicester - Let the new era continue!!!
C-man Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Agreed, he did extremely well in keeping us up last year. Thanks, but his time is up.
Birdy Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 BYE BYE ROB KELLY.................. ..............HELLO CHRIS COLEMAN!!!
LCFC-FAN_Lambert Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 WELL PLAYED KELLY! GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE
dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Yer Rob thanks for all the great talent you brought to the club and the brilliant performances throughout this season.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 No idea how you kept us up last season with what you given and the form it was in but Kudos Rob, it may be your ticket to another job. However the reasults aren't good enough this season, I get the feeling the players don't want to play for him, it's time for a change. Very odd time to sack him though IMO.
Dr The Singh Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 He's been given a good pay off!! Enjoy Rob Kelly!!!

I'd echo those sentiments- he really did a good job in keeping us up last year and does deserve our thanks for that. He does seem like a nice bloke which makes it difficult to criticise and he did have the club at heart. BUT Its been obvious for a while now that we've had the same problems all season and they haven't been addressed so he had to go. I wish him the best.
Geo V Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Its been a poor second half of the season for RK and it hasnt been helped with his lack of knowledge in the transfer market, bringing in some right ropey has beens in the transfer market via loans. With that said, I`d still like to thank him for managing the club with dignity and he always looked like he was smiling away but he seems to be too nice a chap to make a hardedged manager. Thanks for last season and thanks for McAuley but its time to get a proper manager in now
a-fox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 are we ever going to keep a manager longer than 2 seasons
lcfc_jme Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 This could be my favourite day since Milans takeover. My snub of all things LCFC could come to a premature end. More to follow. Watch this space...
