This game has done nothing but good for the reputation and standing of Leicestershire County Cricket Club. We are very much heading in the right direction. A loss is disappointing but Alfonso wanted us to compete in all formats and we are certainly doing that.

Contrived circumstances (as recognised in records). Previous record was 38 by Flintoff. This is an amazing achievement (and from a centrally contracted bowler as well ). This record will last for decades; i hope it gets proper recognition in national media.

County cricket is pitifully ignored by the media. That was fantastic sport and deserves far more coverage.

Kimber was f***ing magnificent. He's not had a great season prior to this but on song he's absolute box office.

 

Gutted we fell just short but absolutely brilliant we (Kimber) gave it one hell of a go instead of tamely trying to cling on for an unlikely draw like other sides would have.

OK we lost buy that's just incredible. Loved it

 Even in a loss alot to be admired. Cox got out and after that I never fancied  us but what an effort. 

 

Again a few years ago we lose that by sn innings. Hope Kimber kicks on but he is defo a number 6 or 7 not 3.

If we had say 5 new bowlers we could really do something 😆

It's a good point about Kimber; he was able to attack the older ball in a way he hasn't at 3.

Would note that since I moaned about Cox he has pulled his finger out big time kept really well and I'd batting with more confidence.

They would have got full houses for Tendulkar  he's a god in India but sadly you are correct Rahane won't attract  any more Indian supporters though  the gate
