Green shoots but he's not made the leap yet, CC and T20 performances haven't been there yet

He always get out playing stupid shots. When he gets his head down and plays with aggression but contained, he does well. His hundreds have come at 90-105SR. It’s why he can’t pull it off in other forms. His big hitting isn’t good enough for t20 and he’s not calm enough for CC.

Would expect Hants to get 300 from here, with only 3 wickets down. Will be a challenging chase, given they have some high quality bowlers.

Be chuffed if we managed to get away with a 280 here

What are people's thoughts when chasing in 50 over cricket?

I think when you bat first you always start off cautiously and then play 20 over match if you can get to 30 with wickets in tact.

When chasing are we best to play 20 over mentality first and take pressure off later on?

If we start off too cautiously I can still see us losing wickets and having a nightmare. Something says get to 170/4 after 20 overs and then just take it easy.

It depends. If you go hard at the start you risk losing wickets, we’re likely to be chasing at 6 an over which isn’t that much. Therefore it’s important to keep up with the rate but not at the expense of wickets. As we saw on Sunday Glamorgan were behind the rate and losing wickets meaning they didn’t have anything to fall back on at the end.

How come Green only bowled 5 overs when he was the most economical bowler? Appreciate that he bowled in the middle of the innings, when they were consolidating,  but could he have been given a couple more overs?

Bowled very well. Quick for 17. Big fella but bowls a decent line and length with it

Must be going for a pinch hitter role

Has a very good technique Walker. I think he has ability but I've never seen him score quickly? Maybe I'm wrong

Another kiss of death and 4 off 12 balls hardly screams pinch hitter
