Seems we made a small profit last season which goes against what others have said??? She seems like a good egg, priorities seem to be in the right place.

Not a member anymore so haven't seen the accounts but  from what I've been told by members who have we made a huge loss again so Im confused by this.

Understand the club are not Inc the 165k paid in interest so  using a bit of an artistic license to say they made a profit.

Like she says though, when you look at the losses some other clubs are making (Sussex/Middlesex), it’s really not that bad and she talks a good game in terms of trying to increase turnover. And to do that with our best squad in years is some effort too even if it’s a bit thin. Got a lot to learn from Derbyshire I’m sure as they always seem to make a profit which is great to see.

Correct Derby do always make a profit and agree the likes of Middlesex and esp Sussex are in much worse shape.Fancy Derby for Promotion this season with the signing of Abbas btw

We’ll struggle if we can’t keep people fit but I really think the depth in our batting line up will surprise a few teams. Gonna need someone to really step up batting wise and then a bowler to push on (hopefully Hull) and have a sub 20 average season. We’ve got a head start of Sussex who are a mess and shouldn’t fear Glamorgan. There’s only really Surrey squad wise that are streets ahead, maybe Warwickshire and Notts too.

Yadvinder Singh signed on a short term deal for a month to cover injuries.

Fair play to the SACA programme, some record they have of getting their players county gigs these days.

Yeah. Its better than it was at least. Smoke and mirrors i agree. We are stronger on the pitch though, paying decent wages for better players. For years we were combining bad finances with poor sides.

I think we can stay up. Stronger or as strong as Glamorgam and Sussex. Reasons to be cheerful.

Ive seen him play a few times looks to be decent, sharp and got good bounce on the day I saw him. Looks ok.

Not sure who else is injured. Surely more than Mike as we have what 8 other seamers?

A Spoons that doesn't feel like one. A winning combination.

Clearly gym fit isn't cricket fit. Probably need a real look at the S&C as these lads barely have any load and constantly get injured.
