He's not had much choice with everyone getting out for nothing. I do agree though he's been a terrible signing. Had a few good knocks in div 2 last season when he first joined but has been beyond awful this season. 

He was going so slow he was instantly putting pressure on whoever came in to score to make it a defendable total.

Ben Martindale looks a better player then his dad Duncan whos sadly now suffering from dementia . Think he scored a century at GR in the late 80s early 90s if my memory serves me right

My memory playing tricks on me I thought Duncan Martindale scored a century or got close in the game Whittaker scored a double century in one of my first games at GR as a kid in 1986 it was in fact Paul Johnson who got the runs Martindale did play in the game at least I got that bit right.

When you consider Notts have had an extra three days off too, I suppose today isn’t a shock.

The players might be tired so give them the benefit of the doubt but definitely need to start winning again, it’ll be a huge fail if we don’t qualify for the KO stages of this competition considering we’ve only lost the one player to the 100.

Indeed was very sad to find this out at the ground Sunday.He attended old players day last year which is always a huge event and had to be taken home after a few minutes.It's awful to see.

Spinners bowled pretty well. Bit more control overall at least. Not much the bowlers can do with that score on the board on a test match ground wicket. 275 280 gives them a chance.
