No Mike and Scriven in the squad again. Are they injured?

Ben Green*, Rehan Ahmed, Ben Cox+, Josh Davey, Ruan de Swardt, Stephen Eskinazi, Joey Evison, Alex Green, Sheridon Gumbs, Josh Hull, Rishi Patel, Liam Trevaskis, Ashton Turner, Sam Wood.

For  Sam Wood to be in ahead of either would be odd so guessing they must be injured...

Eskinazi

Patel

Gumbs

Ahmed

Turner

Cox

de Swardt

B.Green

Trevaskis

A.Green

Davey

Hull, Evison and Wood to miss out would be my team. Pick everyone who can bat and still plenty of bowling options.

de Swardt looks a solid all format player and I'm sure he's no mug but not expecting him to win games for us to be honest, seems a similar player to Mulder but a much more modest record. Welcome addition all the same.

I don't think you can say de Swardt has a much more modest record, he has a better batting average than Mulder in first class and list A cricket, and has a better bowling average in list A and T20. Mulder has played a lot more and obviously played all formats for South Africa but I wouldn't call de Swardts record modest in comparision

Get what you're saying but they're both 28.

Mulder has played twice as many first class games and many more t20s but he has 15 first class tons, 3 of them at test level. de Swardt has 3 first class tons. Mulder has 12 t20 50s, de Swardt has none.

Mulder 235 wickets at 26. de Swardt 86 at 30.

I hope de Swardt does well and I think he's a solid addition given his all round skill set across formats. But my expectations aren't particularly high.

All relative though isn't it, I just wouldn't call de Swardts record much more modest, de Swardt hasn't played domestically outside of South Africa I don't believe so he's going to have played less matches

Lets see how he does tonight, hopefully puts Durham to de Swardts (probably pronounced completely differently).

Ruan de Swardt in as overseas. He is a good all-rounder saw a bit of him in South Africa. Would improve us if ww could get him long term. He bats well, can go through the gears and a decent seamer. Top fielder. Could have done with hom a few months ago.

Now ive said all this will be hopeless. But I do know that he can play. Saw him play a bit in the Autumn for North West.

See what you all think. Not sure how old but under 30 od think

Made me look a fool lol Not for tge first time. Not for the first time today lol. Awful shot

A road in good weather and come up with this nonsense, pathetic. If they hadn't dropped 2 dollies we would be all out already. 80-3 to 120-8. The whole season has been a shambles. From recruitment to toss choices to game plans. Green is a terrible captain. You know they will chase this in about 10 overs, especially if Josh 12 an over Hull opens the bowling.
