Doubt they'll be any play today, probably not the worse thing tbh.

We'd probably take a draw away at Notts

Yep. Getting out of this one unscathed will be a good result.

Season really hinges on beating Hampshire- having to play the top 3 over the last 4 games is tough going.

Two go down not just 1

Still all depends on the Hampshire game I think- we'll likely lose a couple of the others if the weather holds.

Doubt 1 win will be enough be surprised if Surrey don't win a game of two

Interesting overseas U-turn down in Hampshire, where they yesterday announced the controversial figure of New Zealand all-rounder Scott Kuggeleijn for the remaining four matches of the current County Championship campaign.

They immediately came under fire from their supporters (like to think we'd do the same) and just 24 hours later, he's been told to do one.

Difficult one not saying i disagree but he's not been found guilty of anything

Could do with getting some batting/bowling points and the draw.  But the forecast looks ok from tomorrow (maybe a delayed start Friday) so going to be tough

They knew what they were doing was going upset their own fans (not to mention their own female players and staff) because they didn't announce it.

No matter how you judge him morally, it's such a crazy hill to die on for such a bang average cricketer.

Trevaskis confirmed as leaving.

First of many I fear.

Cox and Holland will most probably be announced next. Mike and Hull also out of contract but I think they need to be let go.

Sad to see Trev go but it was inevitable with the apparent fall out with Thomas.

I guarantee, if he'd have played instead of Ayaz Patel...he'd have been much more effective...with bat and ball.

Fall outs with the coach.

He's fell out with a few players. Seems like there's abit of a common denominator here! Oh and another one to add to that out of contract list is Tom Scriven

Yes he signed a one-year contract extension in January; here until at least the end of 2027

I stand corrected on that one then. But here's a list of players out of contract off the top of my head

Patel (Hampshire already signed)

Trevaskis (confirmed leaving)

Cox

Holland

Mike

Hull

Holland needs signing up! Not bothered by Hull and Mike. Does anyone know any more about Cox situation? Heard he was definitely off but then someone mentioned that it was said at a members meeting that he could be staying.

Although he's 36 next month, Holland's still more than 8 months younger than Mitch Starc. Given his age and MLC commitments, a county move would seem strange - hopefully it's just all parties getting the season out of the way before making an announcement. 🤞
