Latest episode of Talking Foxes has confirmed that Rehan will almost certainly be missing from our next game.

Kimber (1) and to a lesser extent Swindells (25) missed out on an absolute road in the current 2nd XI game v Essex at Billericay CC as we racked up 490 all out in reply to their 473/8 declared.

Gumbs and Maddy with 78 and 61 respectively.

Dunk with 68, Dyer with 108 off 90 balls and NJ Green with 70.

Anyone know much about the latter 3? Dunk is a Scotland under 19 by look of it but i don't know anything about Dyer or Green.

Colby Dyer is a big hitting leg-spinning all rounder attached to Sunbury Cricket Club in the Surrey Cricket Championship having had a few games for Surrey 2nds 3 years ago. Seems like he learnt most of his cricket at Hilton College, a South African boarding school.

This would be Nick Green, who I think I remember reading is an all-rounder and Alex Green's older brother.

Bizarre end to that second XL game. They were on course for a great win and then lost their last 5 wickets for 11 runs, to lose by 14 runs.

Yep, they were looking in total command after the Kimbernator destroyed the home attack with a blistering 123 off only 89 balls.

As rehearsals go and given the spin-reliant Middlesex attack, you would think they will give him a spot back in the red ball XI in Rehan's absence. It also gives us another spin option.

Yeah Dunk played for Scotland at the U19 World Cup. Bedford School product.

Don't think that will discussed much. It's more about the planned fixture reduction for next season .Waste of time really because regardless what the fans want the club will vote for a reduction in fixtures

Is there a reason why the Middlesex game starts on a Sunday and not today. Would have surely made sense to utilise both Saturday and Sunday for the four day game.

Leicestershire actually get bigger crowd during the week then at weekends plus hospitality packages are easier to sell during the week

Think you have to have a three day gap between Championship games?

We are a bit depleted for this one, with no Rehan, Holland, Hull and Mike. Assume Cox will return after being rested last time, so expect the following XI:

Budinger

Patel

Hill

Handscomb

Kimber

Cox

Trevaskis

Van Beek

Green

Scriven

Wright

Another injury, Scriven out.

Severely depleted attack, kookaburra ball and we've stuck them in to bat... what could possibly go wrong?

Gambling on working through their top order this morning, because the forecast for the 5 sessions after that is absolutely belting.

Yeh, probably don't want to bowl tomorrow or Tuesday!

Is this all injuries or tactical rotation. This team is look into like a 2nd XI Wow. Putting them into bat aswell. Am I over reacting here or could this derail our season?
