lcfc_jme Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 Anybody happen to know anything of all the Leeds fans that apparently have tickets in the Derby end for tomorrows game? I'd expect there to be a fair amount of trouble if this is the case.
Simi Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Anybody happen to know anything of all the Leeds fans that apparently have tickets in the Derby end for tomorrows game? I'd expect there to be a fair amount of trouble if this is the case. Especially now they have nothing to play for.
Leicfox Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Dennis Wise was at the Swansea Vs Blackpool game yesterday, allegedly scouting Andy Robinson and Lee Trundle.
hebangsthedrums Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 I composed this just now in the shower: To the tune of Merry Christmas Everyone: Leeds are going/going down Wise has taken/them to league one Tis a season/of celebration Relegation/Dirty Leeds Scum Relegation/Dirty Leeds Scum
Simi Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 At least Ken Bates kept his promise of getting Leeds out of the Championship.
Guest Gist Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 At least Ken Bates kept his promise of getting Leeds out of the Championship. Anyone know if there was any trouble today?
lookwhaticando Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Anyone know if there was any trouble today? Yeah... some Leeds thug attempted to head-butt someone. He was red carded though.
Daggers Posted 6 May 2007 Author Posted 6 May 2007 "Robert was not trying to head-butt someone, he was trying to show he was strong in front of an opponent."
Daggers Posted 10 May 2007 Author Posted 10 May 2007 Revie Returns He's certainly got this football lark nailed "We need a structure to identify the players, and a genius as a manager. Sir Alex Ferguson is a genius, Arsene Wenger is a genius. There are football geniuses and that's my challenge, to find one."
Father Ted Posted 15 May 2007 Posted 15 May 2007 hahaahahahahaahahaahahaha! first thing i did was ring up everyone i know who supports leeds and just laughed and laughed and laughed and... you get the point! Alan Lee is a national hero!! Although what would be even funnier would be Lee playing for Leeds! Remember Speedie?
Matt Posted 15 May 2007 Posted 15 May 2007 Oh Dear. Sky Sports 1 @ 7pm tonight - Leeds Utd - Marching On TogetherA journey through the ages & behind the scenes of the Yorkshire's most successful club. Leeds have topped the Football League, won the FA Cup & conquered Europe, but what does the future hold? So are they going to do a little documentary on all the clubs that have had abit of success then got relegated? Let me guess who is going to narrate on it? Chris Kamara. Shame I won't find out because I ain't gonna watch it.
The Reverend Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Oh Dear.So are they going to do a little documentary on all the clubs that have had abit of success then got relegated? Let me guess who is going to narrate on it? Chris Kamara. Shame I won't find out because I ain't gonna watch it. What a load of bollocks that was. I watched it so i could laugh to be honest! Its no wonder thought that the tossers from Leeds still think they're Man U (even though they never were anyway) when they have ammunition like this to feed off. Its a joke. 'Oh, Leeds used to be a big club lets do a documentary about them'. What a load of toss. Wankers at sky sports.
Geo V Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 As much as I hate the pixy, I may have to invest some of my hard earned cash on the 5/1 that skybet are offering for them to win the third division . It may be binning my cash as Wise doesnt know his ar$e from his elbow but he did OK with Swindon so maybe that is more of his level. I am ashamed of even thinking about thebet but my pocket is ruling my heart on this one
potter3 Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 If Wise had stayed with Swindon he'd be in the same division now
Geo V Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 If Wise had stayed with Swindon he'd be in the same division now What a tosser he is
SystonFox Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Oh Dear.So are they going to do a little documentary on all the clubs that have had abit of success then got relegated? Let me guess who is going to narrate on it? Chris Kamara. Shame I won't find out because I ain't gonna watch it. this programme was hilarious, they just showed random highlights of Leeds relegation season, Burnley away and Ipswich at home to send them down. . as for the narrating, i thought it would be him to and he'd be going on about how Leeds are too big to go down and he feels sorry for big Dennis Wise. . but it was some fit irish bird - result. on the kamara note, anyone notice how much he bigs derby up when he commentated on them on tues? he really wants them to win. WHY?! hes just such a ****. fat lionel ritchie.

WHY?! hes just such a ****. fat lionel ritchie. I think Kamara at times trie sto justify his tag an a so called expert. Somehow he gets paid by Ladbrokes to give advice on the footy. I go in to place a few bets and through the speaker I hear his voice telling me where to spend my cash . Because of this, I always think that if his prediction is going wrong he tries to make excuses for it. For example, he may have tipped Derby for promotion pre-season and tries to big them up at every chance! I can remember when he tipped Connolly to be top scorer in the Championship for us one season and he went on a stinker of a run
davieG Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 FRom Sky Leeds United still owe seven ex-players money among a lengthy list of around 1,350 creditors. Debts of £35million forced The Whites into administration when it became apparent they would not retain their Championship status earlier this month. While Leeds no longer pay the likes of Robbie Fowler and Mark Viduka, they still are indebted to Danny Mills, Michael Ricketts, Eirik Bakke, Paul Butler, Steve Stone, Jermaine Wright and Sean Gregan. Mills is due £216,667 in wages while Ricketts is owed a staggering £117,500 and under Football League rules all clubs in administration must pay up. Ken Bates requires 75 per cent of the vote on his proposal to retain control of the club, although Simon Morris, Terry Brown and a consortium led by former Leeds manager Don Revie's son Duncan are also in contention. It is believed Bates' proposal has the backing of three of the club's major creditors, Astor Investment Holdings Limited, Forward Sports Fund and Krato Trust, who are owed nearly £18million.
