ronnup Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Said it was going to be sunny today his quality and his age, this would be my top signing.
Geo V Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I`d love him to sign for us but the fact is that Harry Redknapp was quite public in saying he should move on from way back in January and he doesnt seem to be set on coming here as he would have done by now, even if it was on loan.
Ozwin Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I reckon it's almost a done deal to be honest. There's probably other teams all over him at the minute and he's just waiting to see all of them. If there's a Premiership team that he sees potential in then he'll go to them, but I doub thaty'll happen soon. Leicester are big, with big ambitions, and a big chairman. He's coming here, he has to.

Daggers Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 it's almost a done deal to be honest. There's probably other teams all over him at the minute and he's just waiting to see all of them. Anyone else find this contradiction a tad confusing? It's either a done deal or it isn't...and it isn't.
lookwhaticando Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Anyone else find this contradiction a tad confusing? It's either a done deal or it isn't...and it isn't. I don't find it remotely confusing. In fact, I'd go as far to say it's the most crystal clear post I've read all day. The way to understand that post is to think to yourself: does this guy actually know anything, or is he just guessing? Since the answer is probably a simple "No, he has no inside information" it all becomes ever so clear.
Pete_foxes Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Don't know if this has been posted already http://www.clubcall.com/index.jsp?storyID=320925
Simi Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 From 606.. pulis is keen to bolster his attacking options and could pursue Todorov after confirming on Monday that he will not be entering the race to sign oldham striker chris porter. sorry mate. Deal was done at Leicester today. Press conference on Friday. Linkage
MPH Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 From 606.. Linkage im not that concerned. all it is so far is just speculation. there is nothing in that report that actually links stoke to him. He hasnt said anything about them and they didnt say anything about him....
Gené and Tonic Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 I have a feeling it would almost be like Forsell at Birmingham. Quality player but hardly ever fit. Plus he's getting older now. That said I'd still want us to sign him to prove me wrong. These type of players can be the difference next year.
Blue Bob Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 A fit Toddy and Cort would be a hell of a strike force. If Job is waiting in the wings too this could be a hell of a season!!!
brookfox Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Todorov has agreed to join the Addicks after rejecting the chance of a return to Bulgaria with Levski Sofia. Leicester, Stoke and Wigan were all quickly linked with a move for the 28-year-old after he turned down the offer of a new deal from Portsmouth But Charlton have won the race to sign the Bulgaria international. He told Darik radio: "Everything happened really fast, I passed the medicals and am training with Charlton."

Blue Bob Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2467337,00.html He has signed on a one year deal?? I thought we could have offered him longer terms though I wonder if we were really chasing him??
Ric Flair Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Another one bites the dust, think we've got caught up with the Job deal and had our pants down here. Not sure how I feel about this news.
leicestertillidie86 Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Don't want to raise everyone's hopes again too much, but... a) the official Charlton site has nothing about this (http://www.cafc.co.uk/default.ink) b) neither does the BBC football site (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/default.stm) and c) both teamtalk and 365football have given exactly the same story, which is the translation of a link on: www.gong.bg. My Bulgarian's not too great though and I don't know how reliable the site is. But I won't believe it till I see it on the Charlton OS.

leicestertillidie86 Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 is that site clean? No idea, and its all in Bulgarian. Looks kind of offical though.
