Master Fox Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 He's not quite Emerson but still....We'll have to see what we can do MF. I think we could pull this one off. Agreed. I think maybe we should contact the agent tomorrow, we could be onto something here.
Daggers Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 I love being pulled off (never saw that coming did 'ya?) ((that's what I say to all the girls shortly before apologising))
Joe. Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Agreed.I think maybe we should contact the agent tomorrow, we could be onto something here. Seeing as our efforts earlier were somewhat thwarted I feel we have a point to prove. This is the turning point of our partnership here MF I can feel it.

Joe. Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 I'm not sure if i'm quite ready for that .......Let's take one step at time, yeah? cool......... I'm sorry. The excitement of this possible deal is just getting too much for me. I'll try to curb my enthusiasm in the future...

l444ry Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 With Cort and Fryatt seemingly injury prone strikers, it would be risky to sign yet a third.
FilboFox Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 With Cort and Fryatt seemingly injury prone strikers, it would be risky to sign yet a third. I would have thought that it would make sense to get a third, injury-prone or not... it should mean that we would then have at least couple of decent strikers all at once going into matches.
lookwhaticando Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 .......rejected new contract at Pompey.Possible signing number 7?? He would have been number seven, if he had signed before we secured Chambers (the current #7 signing). I don't yet see anything about him rejecting the new contract, where'd you heard that?
Mort Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 It was on sky sports news What?... him rejecting a new contract with pompey or something all together more exciting?

I don't yet see anything about him rejecting the new contract, where'd you heard that? Correct, my mistake, possible signing number 8! Was shown on sky sports last night. Think Milan will have a point to prove after losing out on Saganowski. If we tempt both Todorov and Clemence, i feel they could turn a average team in the Championship to one pushing for the playoffs. Lots of ifs and buts, but feel we will get both players mentioned above...

Dr The Singh Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 ...but little Harry was mighty keen to point out what a great player he thinks he is at the tail end of last season. Who's little Harry??
Foxhateram Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 ...but little Harry was mighty keen to point out what a great player he thinks he is at the tail end of last season. Raise his value if he did sign for another year, saying things like will benefit him in January, however it looks like todo has seen through FAT Harry's plan. Now who will pay for your weird named new striker Harry eh eh!!! Todo we wont scheme you like that, come here! You know you want to!!!! Mandy loves you!
Babylon Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 From foxfanzine: "I've just seen somebody on our board (Pompey) post that it said on SSN that Todorov has turned down our offer of a 1 year contract and will leave. A chance that he could join you with his Milan connection, then? Jury still out on whether he will recover from a serious injury he had with us but well worth a risk on a free. If he's anything like he was before his injury he'll score plenty of goals in the Championship. Definitely one of the cleverest players and most natural finishers I've ever seen at Fratton Park."

MPH Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 if we have questions with regards to his fitness, give him a pay as you play deal for the first 6 months and then convert it to a 'proper' contract.... would love to see him here.

Why would a player take a pay as you play when there would be other Championship teams willing to offer a 3 year contract?
MC Prussian Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 His name goes really well with that "Waterloo" song from ABBA.
