Wils Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Havent seen much of him. They can have Elvis as part of the deal.
Leicfox Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Rumour is that after the game when we lost 3-1 at home to QPR Tim Davies made a bid to sign Lee Cook on loan, i'll see if i can still find the link http://www.sportinglife.com/football/cc_ch...MHD=nationwide1
Sods Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Wish derek asmaoh came, hes attitude is shite but he does have quality. plus the son asamoah! asamoh, asamoh! is great not good enough for leicester though on a serious note a pacy decent winger and goalscorer is all i ask

Leicfox Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Blackpool have a battle on there hands and I'm not talking about this Sunday's clash with Yeovil either. According to Clubcall and The Mirror Championship side Wolves are chasing crowd favourite Wes Hoolahan. The 25 year old has earned rave reviews this year and has scored 10 goals in nearly 50 appearances. But Wes, will be offloaded by parent club Livingston this summer. Who will are unable to pay his wages, reports suggest that if Blackpool fail to gain promotion Wes will sign elsewhere. With Wolves been the firm favourite, Irish boss Mick McCarthy is said to be checking on the midfielder when Blackpool line up against Yeovil on Sunday. We should get in on the action for Hoolahan.
Ric Flair Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 We should get in on the action for Hoolahan. I agree. Ludicrous that he's not been snapped up by a higher level team already.
12FRYATT Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 If Martin Allen does get the job does anybody think that he would raid MK dons for a player, one that comes to mind is izale mcleod, i like the guy. anybodys thoughts?
Head Honcho Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 If we're looking to play in the Premiership within the next 3 years I doubt it! No one near good enough at MK Dons.
lildave3 Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 If Martin Allen does get the job does anybody think that he would raid MK dons for a player, one that comes to mind is izale mcleod, i like the guy. anybodys thoughts? I doubt he would tbh. I haven't actually seen much of Mcleod so I can't really comment on whether I think he's good enough. But from what i've heard he's powerful, fast and scores goals, so I wouldn't mind
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Bound to be a lot of speculation now. What do we think? Personally I'm not convinced but it depends what the fee would be. We do need a bit of presence up front and I'd prefer taking a chance on Izale than bringing Cresswell back. I think he's a tad overrated though and the red cards are worrying.
Matt Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Not seen him play other than in a Playoff game this season which he looked poor in, but according to a post from a MK Dons fan the other day he was below parr in that game, besides you can't really have too much judgement on 1 game. If Championship Managers anything to go by he's a very good player. Unsure.

Im speculating here, but i read on a Mk Dons site that they'd want about 1m.
Father Ted Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Now that portsmouth have signed Sylvain Distin and Titus Bramble close to going there. There hardly gonna get rid of Primus and Campbell so Stefanovic ----> Leicester could be on the cards!
costadelboy Posted 25 May 2007 Posted 25 May 2007 I wouldn't be surprised if DJ Campbell turned up here Yeah heard he had Zanzibars rockin at the weekend great tunes
Jay Posted 26 May 2007 Posted 26 May 2007 well as it seems Pompey are signing Viduka and Yakubu I wouldn't say no to Lua Lua who must be about 6th choice now and Toderov upfront next season!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 May 2007 Posted 26 May 2007 Commons is overrated. There is a reason why Forest have been shit for years now and yet we keep on signing their players, and not even their best players at that. He's the absolute antithesis of a Martin Allen player and no better than Levi. It'd be like Gareth Williams all over again. One or two moments of skill per season and a load of moaning on here about why he can't do it all the time.
STUHILL Posted 26 May 2007 Posted 26 May 2007 DAILY MIRROR Roy Carroll is the latest victim of the summer clearout at West Ham. Yes Plz, would be a great keeper for the championship! And on a free!!!
Population-1 Posted 26 May 2007 Posted 26 May 2007 Although I am yet to see any official story linking us to him, I would like to see us consider Claus Jensen. Despite his career going off the boil somewhat at Fulham he was excellent at Bolton and Charlton and has only just turned 30. For me, he would be the ideal creative signing and is available on a free. However, whether he is a Martin Allen type signing is questionable. I personally think we will see a number of players arriving who have points to prove (for whatever reason) and I doubt Claus would fall into that bracket. What do you think?
