STUHILL Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Freddy Eastwood - Probably cost close to 2million tho Todorov Lee Hendrie Danny Murphy but surely would stay in Prem or go to Charlton or one of the relegated teams so very unlikely! Matt Jarvis - could be expensive, maybe a million Kris Commons! I know he's Forest but if they don't get promoted he might come plus he is bloody good winger!! Stefanonic from pompey Plus a quality Goalie to command from the back! maybe Richard Wright or remember Stuart Taylor!! He was huge and quite good! AND....to Manage these quality players....for me... still.... Chris Coleman! Young, ambitious and hungry for Prem return!!!!
escape2victory Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 What do you reckon to this fella ? Much chance of getting him ? Maybe if we bring Coleman in ? Claus Jensen
Cheese Me Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Would be great but can't see it somehow. He'd walk into the team for one of the promoted clubs. Maybe with Coleman though...
Ric Flair Posted 18 May 2007 Posted 18 May 2007 What do you reckon to this fella ? Much chance of getting him ? Maybe if we bring Coleman in ?Claus Jensen Was thinking the same thing last night, the man has quality written all over him. He is slightly injury prone but if he could stay fit and he isn't coverted by Premiership clubs then there could be a chance we could get him in. He is a goal scoring midfielder when he's on form. In this league I think he'd be capable of 10 goals a season easily.
Cobbo Posted 19 May 2007 Posted 19 May 2007 That Davies lad from Yeovil looked like the fooking top dollar. Get him in.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 May 2007 Posted 19 May 2007 Just to explode a myth, there'll be no chance whatsoever of Claus Jensen playing for us next season if Coleman is the new manager.
Sly Posted 19 May 2007 Posted 19 May 2007 Just to explode a myth, there'll be no chance whatsoever of Claus Jensen playing for us next season if Coleman is the new manager. Why's that then Fez?
Stevosevic Posted 19 May 2007 Posted 19 May 2007 I read this morning on SSN that Jensen rejected the contract in January when Coleman was there, seems strange that hes blaming long ball tactics by Sanchez.
Mort Posted 19 May 2007 Posted 19 May 2007 Why's that then Fez? I seem to remember he got limited games under Coleman, whats more it was Coleman's contract offer he turned down... things havent got much better for Claus since Sanchez arrived... and so he's off, but he and Coleman didnt have a particuarly good relationship and its seems Coleman doesnt rate him that highly.
BlueKnight Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 A few names which i think would improve the squad Svetoslav Todorov Dejan Stefanovic Ian Walker Kirs Commons Linvoy Primus Joey from the half way line Gudjonsson Must get rid of Alan Maybury Stephen Hughes
Mort Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 Yay... lets become a retirement home for ex-pomey players! Svetoslav TodorovDejan Stefanovic Ian Walker All three could do a job for us IMHO, though I'd have Walker down as second choice to a new first choice keepr like Camp. Kirs CommonsLinvoy Primus Commons maybe, but he'll cost and i think we could stand to get better... Primus? Why? Old and frankly if we're bringing in Stefanovic do we really need yet another defender?!!! Joey from the half way line Gudjonsson Why! We can get much, much better... he's 10 times the player the likes of Williams or Hughes were/are, but we can do better with regards to a creative player in midfield, much better! Must get rid ofAlan Maybury Stephen Hughes Cant argue with that.... but we should be getting rid of the utter shite (DeVries, Hammond, Douglas etc...) before we consider which of our healthy stock of simply poor players (Maybury, Henderson, Hughes, McCarthy etc...) we get rid of... PS:

MBK Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...ham/6678003.stm Jarvis gets new offer but likely to leave
Mort Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...ham/6678003.stmJarvis gets new offer but likely to leave I'm starting to think that Jarvis wont wind up with Charlton as was first rumoured, I reckon he'd have been anounced along with Varey and Iwelumo,of course he and his agent could just be fishing around and forcing Pardew to wait... the important thing with regards to us is we're still in with a decent shot of landing him, I'd also rate Allen as the kind of manager who would be interested in brining him here and who could attract him.
howie Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 whats peoples opinions on him. if martin allen gets the job i'd say theres a good chance he'll bring him with him
Mort Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 whats peoples opinions on him. if martin allen gets the job i'd say theres a good chance he'll bring him with him Kinda depends who "he" is...

Mort Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 He meant Izale McLeod. aw... i was hoping for Kaka * *I had twigged, it was probably McLeod.
JoeyB Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 With it looking like Martin "Mad Dog" Allen is going to take over as manager, anybody reckon that McLeod might follow him and come to Leicester? Would you like him here or not?
dandannieldanok Posted 23 May 2007 Author Posted 23 May 2007 Would like him but no more than £750,000.
Mikey Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Yeah I think he would be a great signing. He is very fast and strong and does score goals.
