Stick your wish list in here!

Although I am yet to see any official story linking us to him, I would like to see us consider Claus Jensen. Despite his career going off the boil somewhat at Fulham he was excellent at Bolton and Charlton and has only just turned 30. For me, he would be the ideal creative signing and is available on a free.

However, whether he is a Martin Allen type signing is questionable. I personally think we will see a number of players arriving who have points to prove (for whatever reason) and I doubt Claus would fall into that bracket.

What do you think?

Fair point. But this would be better in the "Stick your wish list here" sticky thread if there is no link.

how about Radzinski up front with Humie, they play together internationally and although he is old he still got pace which i think at this level will make us more aggressive going forward, what do you think?

Did nothing at AZ and Burnley, we only didnt sign him through a lack of money, and he obviously wants to come back now we have. He is the most recent leicester player who showed any real passion for the team and scored some cracking goals and made Leicester matches interesting. Definately worth trying to bring back in my opinion, not many better championship players out there.

Thats why not. He was one of a couple of players to be the best of a bad bunch that season, not really what were looking for now, i'd rather have Stephen hughes as back up, if Martin Allen can get him going.

I disagree tbh, he was the only player who made it interesting and entertaining, and looking back and watching that season's dvd made me realise how crucial he was the season. Not even comparable to Stephen Hughes imo, who's been shocking all season

Why did he want to leave in the 1st place ? probably money, Forget him.

Levein weren't it?

good player but id rather we didnt have him back

Why :dunno: He was part of a shite team that was nearly relegated, he couldn't pass, he scored a few good goals but many of his speculative shots were poor. We need more than passion to lift us out of this 4 year stupor and going back is not the solution.

I think we need to attract better, lets face it he was made to look like a superstar in the levein era by the players around him. He did do well for us and I really liked him but we need to aim higher.

Why oh why!!?? :dunno:

If we want to elevate ourselves to the next tier of the Championship(ie not to be in the relegation dogfight as we have done in the last 3 years!)we need to be thinking about signing better players than JG.

Yes he was a good player for us,but we need ALOT better.

MM has not come here to foll around and buy players just for the nostalgic vote.

He's here to buy players who will do ajob for LCFC!

(Glad i got that off my chest!!!:banana:

Joey lost his soul when he left Leicester. The clock doesn't turn backwards any more for Joey than anyone else. We need to ahead not behind.

Completely, we need to focus on instant promotion and resigning Gudjonsson isn't the answer (despite that remark i actually think hes a decent player just he wouldn't be the same as when he was here previously e.g. Guppy's second spell.

Maybe I could be wrong but is it worth the risk of resigning a former player?

Sorry but JG is better than Hughes and Jarrett so I would sign him.

I'd agree with that but it's no reason to sign him. We can do far better.
