DJ Campbell to come?

Sounds as though we hadn't matched the 2 million asking price but Watford had. DJ will have been very firmly pushed towards Watford's door by Birmingham and his parasite, sorry agent, thus the stories about him joining them rather than us. If we match or bid more than them just watch the agent come up with another story to say how "DJ decided he wanted to stay in the Midlands blah blah blah ".

I think 2 million on a DJ is far too much, I would rather we spent the money on a new ship

Have you seen the lies spouted later in the article?

"Homosexuality is not a contagious disease, and it is not a crime in the Bahamas."

Homosexuality is contagious.

There's no evidence for it, but it is Scientific Fact.

The SS Seabreese, clearly your personal, political and social destiny. (I'd say I'll be right behind you- although could be deemed inappropriate)

Babylon, is it now fair to say that Campbell will be costing us in the region of £2 million should he join us?. Why oh why did Watford have to get involved and force us to up our bid, fookin cockney wannabes.

I don't know I've not seen the figures except in tabloids. Either way I don't care if it's £1m or £2m, I'd like him here and think he will do well. The glowing report from almost all Birmingham fans is enough to convince me the lad has got what it takes. From what I read they were more sorry to see him go than Clemence, and he could cost us £1m.

He has one of the best goals to starts ratios in any division, Allen is manager and he obviously wants him badly, i'm willing to put my faith in him. Fryatt will be off soon and he'll cover a percentage of the cost anyway.

SO Helguson, definately liked him when he was banging them in for Watford. Not been too good since joining Fulham, so would he be able to re-discover his form if he dropped back down again. Certainly another risk but if he is cheaper than DJ and we end up getting another pacey striker in, maybe from abroad, then definately a good option.

Helguson has just joined Bolton today.
