Ashley Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I'll probably be in the Forest end then. Try and get near the Leicester fans You never know you might be able to get into the Leicester end.
Floating Fox Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I dont understand why we couldnt sell them all this week.Mon-Wed season tickets Thurs General sale. Im sure we can sort it in a week. They've always done it before when the game is within a week though, to be fair. I can see what your saying, as i Can't really see why but you know they'd be some waynekerr who moans about not having enough time From the Thursday to Tuesday to sort out travel etc I'de say the Police have had some say in this as well, they like to know how many coppers to have at the game based on numbers of travelling fans.
alanf0x Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Yes there sold out. Tickets still on sale. Ive just bought 2 and was asked if i would like any more. Send an email to the ticket office and they will probably call you back.
SystonFox Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 i got rang by the ticket office at 6:40pm tonight and ordered my tickets then. 3 of us travelling from the systonbranch. i was getting a bit annoyed as i couldnt get through to them all day and then emailed at 12:30ish, at 5pm i thought no such luck because they must be closing but well done LCFC for making them stay and do some OT so they can let the real fans have a chance to buy tickets. i do agree it was stupid having only monday for STH to buy them.
Ultra Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Was contacted this morning and told of extra tickets available. Immediately rang the ticket office but got no response from them (no surprise if there were only four staff there!), so sent in request by email. This evening I had a phone call from Jim (top man!) acknowledging my email and advising me tickets are on their way. So I won't have to sit among home fans after all! Those who will should be able to get tickets from Forest easily enough, though it may be advisable to give their ticket office a non-Leicester address and ask to collect tickets from the ground if possible. You really do have to be there to see history in the making. Otherwise you'll have to rely on the demon Barber to keep you informed. And you really wouldn't want that, would you?
Floating Fox Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Just rang my dad, he got back of hols on tuesday night so couldn't get a ticket (been a S/t Holder for 30 years, away & home games & he used to goto home games when he worked in Kent! ) but the club have just rang him & he's got a ticket so fair play to them!
Glen_lcfc Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Yes fair play to the ticket office they have sorted me out with two tickets. After hearing of the extra 900 I emailed in my request at midnight last night and got a reply at 3pm to say that the order has been processed andthey are in the post. Following the shambles at the start of the week someone seems to have kicked some a**e in there and they have it sorted. I would't be suprised if there is 100 or so left over if people email in tonight who want them because the OS was quick to update on Tues when they sold out and no such thing has happened today
Guest Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Nah it's the other side from that. To be honest, the geography of the ground isn't top of my agenda when it comes to remembering useless shit. Everyone SHOULD stand up, who cares about the women behind you Don't women like to stand at football matches then?
martsmarts Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 What times are peeps getting the train if you are getting it? And does anyone who knows the way to the ground from the station fancy tour guiding me??? looking at getting the train around 3 or 4 i think get a few drinks in before the game! police by the hundreds i'm expecting at the train station
martsmarts Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 how many forest fans do people think will be there? Their saying they dont expect many but i'm sure a fare few will be there
Tevez Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Yeah i'm worrying about the train station, after hearing numerous warnings about not wearing your colours.
toonfox Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I went down the ticket office at 9.10 today requesting 3 tickets. Haven't heard anything today do you think i will get them ...?
Simi Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Yeah i'm worrying about the train station, after hearing numerous warnings about not wearing your colours.
NFFC Chris Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I should imagine attendance will be around the 20,000 mark. Not a chance of a sell out me thinks,so you lot should easily get seats in our end if your allocation sells out.
Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 How are people who're getting trains getting back?
Tommeh Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I should imagine attendance will be around the 20,000 mark. Not a chance of a sell out me thinks,so you lot should easily get seats in our end if your allocation sells out. If, IF! Have a day off

lcfc_jme Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I love Thomas Hancock. And also Jim at the ticket office for getting me an extra ticket. I am now definitely attending this game, hopefully standing at the back with the usual offenders. Hope to see most of you all there.

Tommy G Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I'd say the Police have had some say in this as well, they like to know how many coppers to have at the game based on numbers of travelling fans. I guess there will be an unreal amount of coppers there, considering the allocation. But if everyone stands up, and refuses to sit down we'll easily out number them
