If Davies were clever he'd bail from Derby now! It's not going to be pretty down there....

get him in, got to be a better choice than most mentioned on here, might get the fans back on mm`s side a bit as well, but whoever it is lets hope they are given a chance to manage the club their way otherwise its just going to be a continuous merry-go-round of managers here until he finds a yes man who he can work with, billy davies doesn`t strike me as a yes man though so he may not last long and if he doesn`t mandaric will get slaughtered for doing it again, he`s got to get this one right surely if he wants to keep the fans onside.

Billy Davies - 9/4

Dowie - 5/2

Megson - 13/2

Rodgers 8/1

Grayson 10/1

Reid - 10/1

Jewell - 12/1

Warnock - 20/1

Looks like a 2 horse race for the privelege of managing the mighty Leicester City.

Looks like the whole first team squad have not rushed out to lump on Reid/Heath after being informed they were the dream team on Friday according to the Cov ******.

Would be happy with either of those to be honest. Quite funny though that they are both currently managing our closest rivals!!!!

My money is still on Megson.

Would be quite happy with Billy Davies, though.

Or Billy Smart.

Oh, what a circus!

This is probably just a coincidence but Howard Wilkinson has resigned as director of football at Notts County today.

I don't particularly want to see Billy Davies come here. Firstly he's come from Derby, and despite doing an okay job getting them promoted, his approach at staying in the premiership has been pretty awful, and if Milan's planning for the future then we don't want to do a Derby as soon as we get into the premiership. He also doesn't seem like a very nice person, he always come across like an angry and bad tempered person. We need someone who's passionate and happy and gets the team focussing properly and playing well and happily together. If there's no team morale then there's not anything. Bring on Paul Jewell PLEASE!! I know it sounds bad, but I wouldn't particularly mind Neil Warnock, so he said those things all those years ago but he's still a good manager and got a big personality who would really get the players going and playing for their lives. Either but preferably Paul Jewell if he decides that it's time for him to come back to management.

Think Jewell's pretty much out. The Birch knows him and has effectively said he's not interested in a new job at the moment. Shame.

Perhaps Birch is throwing us of the scent so it's a great surprise if he does come, or perhaps Jewell told the Birch that he's not interested because he know Birch would spurt it all out in the media such as the phone in?

Yep...I'm clutching at straws

Wouldn't mind Billy Davies, lets face it Derby have spent no money and if we get promotion MM will spend the money to make sure we stay there, and i think Davies is a good manager, its not his fault he's got a shower of s@*t to work with. Mike Newell for me though now Jewell is out of the running.

But has anyone else thought Milan is here for buisness his aim is Premiership, sooooooo Milan gets us into the Premiership as far as he's concerned his job is done, his money is earnt, Time for him to take the money and run?!

Fair enough if Milan manages to get us into the Premiership he would earn more money if he can establish us in the Premiership but is that too much of a gamble for him?

I wouldn't get too excited if you're a Dowie fan, that website produced the Heath-Cork-Reid on Monday tosh.

I want it to be Dowie just so as I can laugh in the face of the bloke who works in the bookies I go to!

When MA got sacked I went down there as said can you give me any odds on the next Leicester manager and he said "Nah you'd have to look on the internet" as I was leaving he said "Got a tip though - Dowie" I said "really?!" he then said "Nah not really, why'd he leave a brilliant club like us for you?!" I just walked out before and argument started.

But if we do get Dowie, I am gonna go in there so smugly, go up to the counter with my Leicester shirt on and literally laugh in his face!

Although no doubt he'll be shite for us and the joke would be on me!

If he's that deluded, he might be actually a palace fan. A slow one.
