I have just seen Martin Jol in Morrissons. He was buying a drink but no food so I spoke with my mate who has a catering company and he has had an order for LCFC for some sandwiches. The sandwiches ordered were cheese and pickle and ham salad. I phoned my mate who is a Spurs fan and he confirmed my link immediately stating that Jol has been seen eating cheese sandwiches before.

A London hospital reports that the successful removal of a black ornamental bhudda from the anus of an unamed man in his forties has taken place. Chief Surgeon Dr S. Hitthatout commented that the man now has a new lease of life to pursue his career in gardening. Police spokespersons confirm that they have investigated the matter though progress has been slow due to a confidentiality clause between the involved parties.

Would hate to think that Warnock would ever turn up here after what he said about us. So I sincerely hope its NOT him. If it is, don't EVER expect to hear me chanting his name. And he'd better get off to a cracking start- I'll be on his back for every little mistake he makes.

I got one.....Bruce Rioch..... recently finished managing Odense in Denmark i think it is has Prem experience at Arsenal and has a decent track record ??????? Anyone.

Just got back from Jock Land...Sturrock (or Luggy as they call him up there????) is all over the paper's and they are all singing his praise's and seem convinced he is gonna be the next manager, and that he will do a good job! :unsure: ...just shows he much the sweaty socks actually know about football.. :rolleyes: thank god I'm back to civilisation!! :D

I know but you and others keep replying to my "not over my dead body" posts with "He could do a job". I'm not disputing that he might be able to do a job here, although he has a very suspect record in the transfer market. It's not about his abilty it about the ethics of employing a man who 5 years ago was saying we should be kicked out of the football league.

Exactly. Also i seem to remeber he was the manager at Burton?? many years ago and had an argument with Gordon Milne and was again giving us stick in the press. Not welcome.

We can make as much speculation as we like, but Milan could - and, I suspect, will - surprise us all with whoever he appoints. If I remember correctly, I don't think anyone (or very few people, anyway) had mentioned Martin Allen back in the summer when Milan made him manager.

MM wants the new man in by the QPR game though apparently, so we shouldn't have too long to wait.

If any of you are Daily Mirror readers, have a day off today. It's enough to make you chunder.

This was my favourite bit "Gary Megson is also on the stand-by list. He is available and has the X-factor Mandaric wants.". I'm assuming they're talking about the early rounds of the show where they wheel out idiots for people to sniger at.

Reid's had a secret meeting with Mandaric about becoming the next City boss, but Megson can't be ruled out either. Mandaric is unsure on whether to stump up the reported £400,000 compo for Dowie.

If I were a betting man, which I am not, my money will be on Megson.

Megson WILL be the next manager of LCFC.

If I am right, you heard it here first.

If I am wrong, I'll look a tw@t but I will be happier.

So it's a win-win situation for me.
