Koke Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 We all despise the "my club is bigger than yours" debates. Its like when you in the playground in primary school and arguing with your mates about who's dad is stronger. But there you go, Sheeps or Wednesday?
Bert Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 Sheff Weds for me. Especially as they've been bigger for the time i've been alive.
Koke Posted 17 September 2007 Author Posted 17 September 2007 I also voted Sheffield Wednesday. But I don't think there is much between them.
Lovejoy Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Despite the fact we dislike Derby, I do actually also think Wednesday are a bigger club. I think everyone apart from Derby and Sheffield United fans would agree.
Ultra Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Wednesday are a much bigger club. For once, I completely agree with you.
Brainy Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Despite the fact we dislike Derby, I do actually also think Wednesday are a bigger club. I think everyone apart from Derby and Sheffield United fans would agree. Ditto.
AyewJoking Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Derby are smaller than us let alone Sheff Wed.
Head Honcho Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Wednesday are a much bigger club. I can't believe I'm agreeing with MP and Ultra ..............I need a lie down
DB11 Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Have you just randomly picked two clubs because I cannot see how either of them can be classed as big clubs. I voted Derby because they are in the Premiership but still, what's so special about the two anyway?
Nationwider Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Wednesday are by far the bigger club. They need to do something about the current points situation though.
The Reverend Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Who the **** are Wednesday? Monday, Tuesday...
Bert Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Monday, Tuesday... Lamest song of 2006 winner.
Geo V Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I think Sheff Weds but my bias may be towards the crowds they used to get as opposed to any silverwear count. I cant give a logical answer to be honest and its got nothing to do with being anti-Derby, simply that they have done FA in my lifetime.

Geo V Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Won the league in 72 & 75. Long time ago that, even for someone who was born in 72!
Koke Posted 20 September 2007 Author Posted 20 September 2007 Long time ago that, even for someone who was born in 72! If that's a long time ago then how about this then Sheffield Wednesday FA Cup winners - 1896, 1907 and 1935.
Geo V Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 If that's a long time ago then how about this thenSheffield Wednesday FA Cup winners - 1896, 1907 and 1935. Im not sure whether Derby were good for a few years under BC and were shite either side. Sheff Weds were always in the top league when I was growing up and were getting in the odd cup final and always had loads of fans about and a ground that hosted cup semis etc! There both shite. Thats my final answer
Webbo Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Long time ago that, even for someone who was born in 72! No worries mate, I was just being a smart @rse.
MC Prussian Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Sheffield Wednesday. By far more sympathetic.
