Mikey Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 What a keeper !! Kept us in most games. So assured. Also as I couldn't get to to the match yesterday, what song were you singing for him?
Simi Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 What a keeper !!Kept us in most games. So assured. Also as I couldn't get to to the match yesterday, what song were you singing for him? Fulops Unbeatable! To the tune of Your Grounds to Big For You.
Mikey Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 Fulops Unbeatable! To the tune of Your Grounds to Big For You. Nice Should be able to contain Shevchenko and The Drog.
demon_dog Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 Fulop Out. Douglas In. Are you a closet Leeds fan and want us to swap places with them? Oh. MDV scored for them yesterday. Bring back MDV.
Ashley Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 If I was Mr Mandaric i would be happy to spend 500,000 - 1,000,000 on Marton Fulop. I dont think Sunderland will need him any more as they payed 9,000,000 for Graig Gordon. I can see Keano selling Fulop to us we best move in for him fast

I think we`ll have to pay over £1.5m for him even now.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 1.5 mil especially when you consider he is still young in terms of goalkeepers and he has saved us how many times plus that you spend 1.5mil on DJ who has given us very little
Dames Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 If manage to buy him it will be the best bit of business since O'Neill bought Muzzy.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Clarity, fantastic, now you can all see what I've been seeing. Paul Henderson, average shot stopper. Marton Fulop, good shot stopper.
Thracian Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Clarity, fantastic, now you can all see what I've been seeing.Paul Henderson, average shot stopper. Marton Fulop, good shot stopper. Nothing against Henderson but the two don't bear comparison as goalkeepers. Fulop's overall presence in the box is different class.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Oh his coming for crosses distrubution and overall goal keeping abilty command of area etc are all much better than that liabilty's. I used to have to put up with peope on here telling me Henderson was a good shot stopper though and I think it's now clear, when compared to someone who actually is a good shot stopper, that he wasn't.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 It also demonstrates for me how relatively unimportant distribution is. Everyone used to complain about Henderson and Logan's kicking. Fulop's isn't that much better, in fact on Saturday it was possibly the worst I've ever seen from one of our keepers. Yet he is an immense goalkeeper. People used to concentrate on Hendo and Logan's kicking when it was irrelevant.
teblin Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 "I think logan is better!" Suprised thats not been said, i have been waiting for it.

It wasn't great on Saturday he did slice a couple but he did get away with them, but Hendersons spent whole games kicking for touch before. Logans is by far the best we have.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Fact Edit: I thought you said better not better looking logan was also a Better keeper and gambler as well but caisino wasn't the greatest at either
BigGibbo Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Better keeper and gambler as well There both pretty average keepers but i didn't think casino jimmy was a successful gambler
Ric Flair Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 The best goalkeeper i've seen at Leicester since Tim Flowers. I'm amazed Roy Keane felt the need for a new goalie considering Fulop's talents. I have read somewhere we have an agreed £800,000 deal at the end of the season should we and he want it. I hope that's the case, at that price it's an absolute bargain. I've not seen many better keepers in several years at any level and that's my honest opinion. Even his kicking, which people have reported as dodgy on Saturday, has for the majority of the time been spot on and that's his supposed weakness. He's a man mountain. I'm confident that if we can get in some quality in our midfield and perhaps another striker then we have the ability to compete well in this league.

I know a Sunderland fan very well and he said, he'll be surprised if Sunderland let him go because after Gordon he's their best keeper. I think he's better than Gordon
Dames Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 He's the best keeper in the division. I hope he doesn't get injured or suffers a loss of form.
Bert Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 He's the best keeper in the division.I hope he doesn't get injured or suffers a loss of form. Well done.

I think he's better than Gordon Gordon is a quality keeper, but from what i've seen of Fulop there's not that much in it for me. If Gordon is worth that sort of money then Fulop is worth a fortune as well. If Fulop tells Keane he doesn't want to stay, then we've got a good chance of getting him. Keane has made some odd moves in the transfer market.
