Can you blame them? Their chairman forking out a reported £300K to lure a manager from a team near the relegation zone in the championship, who's own fans hate him, and who has a shit recent record. It's fookin hilarious!

I liken it to when Newcastle poached Souness off Blackburn when he was about 3 games from the sack there. Blackburn fans were loving it and Newcastle fans were appalled. They also got compensation.

Mandaric is a genius, even if he's perhaps not instigated this.

RL reporting that a statement from LCFC is on its way. Whether that is just confirming Megson talking to Bolton or confirming he's left they don't know.

Surely this will boost our opinions of Mandaric? Even if Megson doesn't get the job, and MM fires him, then MM will be a complete LEGEND! :D

I personally think MM has been taking note of Foxestalk forum and decided to ditch him anyway ;)

Surely it ranks up there with Graham Taylors decision to replace Gary Lineker with Alan Smith in Euro 92 when losing to sweden?

Posibly the most bizarre decision in footballing history until the Megson fiasco!!

Dean Thomas is doing shite at Hinckley, get him in!

The silence from the OS is deafening.

We have to scrat around the 'net trying to get information about our own club from anywhere other than the LCFC OS.

Everywhere else gets the news before we do.

My best mate works for the Mirror, (they get constant and up to date news of everything-whether they chose to tell us the actual facts is neither here nor there) and he said that word is he is on his way. As i only have a couple of posts to my name i wont expect anyone to read this, but its worth a go......

Nothing official's been confirmed so it's no surprise really that it's not on the OS.

Skysports.com understands Australia coach Graham Arnold has thrown his name into the ring to become the next manager of Bolton.

Sammy Lee's dismissal at The Reebok has created a Premier League managerial vacancy and Arnold believes he could be the man to fill it.

Arnold has accrued plenty of experience working with both top level players and coaches, having served under Guus Hiddink at the 2006 World Cup.

When the Dutch tactician quit the Socceroos, Arnold became acting coach but it is thought Dick Advocaat has been primed to take over the position on a permanent basis.

Arnold is eager to try his hand in England and is also thought to be interested in the vacant post at Norwich.

As a player, Arnold won 56 caps and scored 19 goals.
