Lichfieldfox. Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 I'd take 2m any day for him. We've way too many defenders and need to buy quality in MF.Wonder if they'd swap him for Clint Dempsey or Jimmy Bullard (must be due back very soon)
Bert Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 'kin el, Fulham aint even made a bid, it's just speculation. If they were to come in though £4million would be about rihgt. He's our best centre back imo, only downsight is that he can't pass.

OriginalRobboFOX Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Again, not wanting to repeat myself over & over but it really depends on who comes in. A new manager might prefer other players in the squad (N'Gotty, McAuley and dare I say it Kenton) or prefer to splash the cash and bring in new players.Still Think that expecting to get over £2m (Or even £2m) for a Championship player at a struggling club is unrealistic, but as I seem to be a minority I wait to be proved wrong. He was first choice with Levein, Kelly, Wortho, Allen, Megson.... So I think he'll be fine whoever comes in...

Bellend Sebastian Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 The summer before last I was expecting him to go, as he was being linked with other clubs and I had it on good authority that his agent was trying to get him a MASSIVE pay rise, but whether he got it I'm not sure. In fairness, things have probably changed a lot since the Mandaric takeover so I'd be surprised if money were an issue if they really do want to hang on to him
Ultra Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Who are all these defenders that play in Kisnorbo's position, presumably quality ones? Stearman? Kenton? Magunda? Our true depth in reserve was shown all too clearly at Shrewsbury yesterday.

He's our best centre back imo, only downsight is that he can't pass. We really have a high opinion of our players dont we. Time will tell, If they are daft enough to part with £4m then I say take it. He didnt even cost us a million.
Fat Ron Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 With a view to a permanent move believed to be around £10m. True, I concede the point..... apart from the fact that he hasnt actually signed for them for £10m yet and with his performances so far it is unikely he will do...His own comments "Pub Player".
City Fan Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 MM would be laughing all the way to the bank.......
jonw88 Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 If he is sold that would be the worst decision made yet, he is an integral part of the team, is a brilliant defender and scores half our goals! If he does go to Fulham, i can predict what will happen... he'll get on the bench a couple of times and not play any big part at all, then get loaned out to QPR or something when we could have just kept him with us as we go up into the Premier League.. PLEASE keep him!! And Wezzer needs another Australian to stick another prawn on the barbie with anyway..
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Isn't he our top scorer? No that'd be Alan Sheehan* * including deflections, assists, goals scored by McAuley, goals wrongly ruled offside, goals rightly ruled offside, goals Alan scored in his back garden against his niece and imaginary goals
BigGibbo Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 We are not a selling team anymore however much is offered its too much hassle to replace our best players & we haven't got many
MPH Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 £2.5million plus Collins John. ahh good point.... we might be seeing a swap deal here.....
MPH Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 We are not a selling team anymore however much is offered its too much hassle to replace our best players & we haven't got many trouble is, even though players are on contracts, its slighty out of our hands- when it comes to contracts and desire to stay, we have been shown very recently that people move on.....

Well we should do all that is in our power to keep him not name our price straight away
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Well we should do all that is in our power to keep him not name our price straight away Why?
BigGibbo Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Why? Because we aren't in the best position as it is & i can't see selling our better players when money isn't a problem anymore as being very helpful
Vardinhio Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 exactly. To put it another way, let's say we got 2million for Kisnorbo....who would you then go out a replace him with??? Can't see many rated defenders wanting to come to the lower regions of the championship.
Tevez Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Please go Kisnorbo, for that price we should be biting their hand off.
Simi Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 2 million? Double it and then think about it. If we're going to base this on current form for signing similar players.
