Benji Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 He makes the odd mistake now and then but if we sell him we lose 5+ goals a season, and a very competant defender.. Cash in maybe, but not on the cheap
eaststandtom Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 this old chestnut! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtm.../sfntra102a.xml
Webbo Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 All those people who thought he'd be no great loss and N'Gotty could take his place easily are probably having second thoughts after yesterday.
lee7 Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 we can't sell him at the minuite. we haven't got no decent cover for him.
MikeyT Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 Although i wasnt at the game yesterday, i can only commen on what i heard on the radio, but to me it sounds like we missed Kisnorbo yesterday. Its sounded like N'Gotty made a few errors! I for one would be sad to see Kisnorbo go!

Agreed although I can't say I'd be sad, if he were to go I don't think N'Gotty is good enough to replace him based on yesterday's commentary and match ratings.
Tevez Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 How can you critisise N Gotty? He's not played first team football? Stupid. I'd have Bruno all day long over Kisnorbo, less fouls and more experiance.

I'd have Bruno all day long over Kisnorbo, less fouls and more experiance. Ermm he has started 21 league games and made 3 sub appearances out of a possible 28. We're not stupid.
Foxhateram Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 N'Gotty is past it! he's not got the pace for this league. Fulham and Newcastle can fook off, Kisnorbo is too good for them!!! and hes staying put. im going to make sure of it
Dames Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 Agreed although I can't say I'd be sad, if he were to go I don't think N'Gotty is good enough to replace him based on yesterday's commentary and match ratings. Doing that is a crime around here. Some people will end up detesting you.
The Reverend Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 Ermm he has started 21 league games and made 3 sub appearances out of a possible 28. We're not stupid. And out of them how many has he played at centre back, his real position?
lee7 Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 How can you critisise N Gotty? He's not played first team football? Stupid. I'd have Bruno all day long over Kisnorbo, less fouls and more experiance. even though he has less pace and makes more mistakes than kisnorbo.
Jon25747 Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 even though he has less pace and makes more mistakes than kisnorbo. If you were at the game on saturday you would not be making that comment!
MPH Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 this old chestnut!http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtm.../sfntra102a.xml goodness me. didnt think the telegraph would result to lazy journalism. Notice how they cover their backs and say he is another 'potential' target. Which basically means they dont have a clue if they still want him or not now they got a new manager.
shen Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 With the imminent signing of Andreasen and the purchase of Hangeland, I don't think they will pursue their interest in Kis
Pen 3 veteran Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 If you were at the game on saturday you would not be making that comment! I was at the game. Ashamed to say don't see much of City live these days due to distance, but will try to be objective. My impressions on Sat were Bruno looked awesome at kick off ( man mountain, huge tree trunk legs!) did well during game when ball near him apart from a few dodgy moments, very brave but I always felt not enough pace any more simply due to age and was waiting through game to see him exposed but Norwich finishing was woeful. I'd expect some of the higher placed teams with young quick in form strikers, (Norwich don't have any at mo) would run him ragged. I'd say keep Kisnorbo.
Thracian Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Be honest some of you wouldn't sell any of our good players at any time. You'd just amass more players and pick up more and more bills until the business was unsustainable. I don't know whether Kisnorbo should be sold or not (I've not spoken to the guy! ) but there's a good few who've got to come and go yet from the squad if we're going to keep making progress. And it's January 21 already.
lee7 Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 If you were at the game on saturday you would not be making that comment! you even said in your match ratings that n'gotty got the ball nicked from under his nose a couple of times and you gave him a rating of 5.

And it's January 21 already. As I have said before, you get better by flogging fringe players, replacing mediocre first teamers with top quality players (at this level) and selling the odd player fo insane amounts of money. So unless they are talking 3-4Mill then why bother.
acooling08 Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Fulham can **** off. kisnorbo is a great, solid defender who scores a few headed goals too
Geo V Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Fulham have a new manager so surely that means any interest would have cooled anyway?
lookwhaticando Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Fulham have a new manager so surely that means any interest would have cooled anyway? Fulham have had no less than three managers during the time of the Kisnorbo rumour. It all began while Cookie was still boss (last January transfer window, if I'm not mistaken). It resurfaced briefly in the summer, post-Cookie (the Dirty Sanchez era). If it has since resurfaced, it'd be no surprise... it's either lazy journalism, or the powers that be at Fulham have repeatedly expressed interest in the player, regardless of who the manager is. Perhaps it's nothing to do with the manager, but the scouting network that belongs to the club...
