Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Superb effort, I thought. 526 fans on a Tuesday night in Lancashire as winter sets in is a pretty decent effort, especially given that it's the third away game in a row. Thoroughly well played ladies and gentlemen. See you at Brizzle.

ASH17LCFC Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Anyone who go's to Preston on a tuesday night is a real die hard. Well done to you all
Vacamion Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Just back in from the game, and, to be honest, it was a bit quiet in our end - especially in the first half when we were not playing well... those of us that sang must have been near microphones... at least the away end affords a wonderful view of the building site where Preston's east stand will be, so all was not lost... It perked up after we scored, though.
mancfox Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Yeah good effort from everyone tonight. Cold tuesday evenings in Preston are always a lovely prospect! Didn't make alot of noise but neither did they to be fair. Could have been alot worse and i'm glad to get a point considering prestons fine home form. Just glad i didn't have that far to travel back!
Bert Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Might As well put my Player Ratings in here: Fulop 7 Great Presence, no chance with the goals kept us in it. Stearman 4, Very poor first half, got better int he 2nd. Sheehan 5, Not as good as he has been caught out a few times, deliveries weren't up to usual standard, only one that was, Goal got dissallowed. N'Gotty 5 Couldn't tell he was on the pitch. McAuley 5 ^^^ Kisnorbo 6 The best of the three centre backs. Kenton 6 Played better when he went to Centre back, actually looked like ha gave a damn. Chambers 6 Played ok, just his usual self. Fryatt 7 , 3 great shots, one which lead to a goal, 2 were great saves from their keeper. DJ 7* Energetic, always looked positive, he is the goal poacher we've been searching for imo. John 5 Didn't do much apart from be lazy. Cort 6 Loooked good when he came on. Kingy 7 Showed so badly waht our midfield has been missing. Well played. Newt 5 Yuck. Why did they leave out Agbangyamam? Gave Kenton a torried time.

Simi Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 After last year at Deepdale it was a shame to see such a low turnout and a poor atmosphere, but a Tuesday night away from home is never going to be to easy. The journey was made no better by the fact I had to sit on a coach on my own there and back !
purpleronnie Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 20 out of 500+ - we're getting better then. (
Micky Ruddle Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Well done lads. I couldn't make this one unfortunetely. Early Entry Maths exams for GCSE's Preston on a Tuesday night. I applaud you for showing your support.
Dr The Singh Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Well done lads. I couldn't make this one unfortunetely. Early Entry Maths exams for GCSE's Preston on a Tuesday night. I applaud you for showing your support. Agreed, well done!!

He must be so pissed off in many ways. Two assisted goals wiped out in recent games, frustration at not making the winner against Chelsea so late on, shaving the post at Colchester.....and all folk ever seem to do is moan at him. He must be really chuffed to be rated alongside Newton who seemed to did nothing, Mcauley who went off and Cort who wasted the chance Sheehan provided by being offside. I'm not saying you're wrong. You were there. I just wish we had someone on the right that we could moan at on the same basis.

You are getting confused between offering a balanced viewpoint (or constructive criticism) and moaning. And that is a cold, hard fact.
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Errf the Sheehan things happening agggaaaiinnnnnn.
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Why aren't we playing Kaebi? Why don't we move the kop to the other end? Let's get Mourinho in as manager. Sheehan is amazing and so so so underrated. I can't believe he's not been snapped up by Arsenal. etc etc. We should have a separate part of the forum for any of the above (plus everything else that Thracian posts).
James. Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Errf the Sheehan things happening agggaaaiinnnnnn. Not from me. I just wanted to strike then retreat sharpish to the relatve safety of Apathy Central.
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Not from me. I just wanted to strike then retreat sharpish to the relatve safety of Apathy Central. Right well I'm off to General Chat. Thracian doesn't venture in there as a sense of humour is something of a prerequisite. See you later, losers!
Floating Fox Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Yeah well done to those who went. The atmosphere was quite good from the streets outside
