It will just paper over the cracks again. English football needs a complete overhaul from the FA down wards. The people who suffer are the England fans who support the team in large numbers.

He was involved in the england set up and whilst i appreciate it is a big step up to go on and become manager, he should not of struggled so much....he saw the problem with Lampard and Gerrard for some reason not working together and chose to do nothing about until he was basically forced to. he knew the team, the team knew him and i just dont accept the concept that he is still learning. not a good enough excuse.

He's got a great chance to shut some of us up and top the group on Wednesday, much as I dislike him, if he tops the group you can't really argue that he hasn't done his job properly. Even if some of the performances we've put in have been utter garbage.
