Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 As there has been an influx in Fish Monger supporters since Holloway resigned from them, i'd like some questions answering. 1) Is it true that he likes to install long ball style football (we've put up with that from every manager I can remember, bar Mark McGhee. So it's nothing new here) 2) Does he like to go with experienced players or youngsters? 3) Is he attack minded, or a defensive buffet manager like Megson? 4) What's his transfer record like, a nose for a bargain? 5) Is he actually very funny? Or does his quotes get tiresome like Martin Allen was starting to get with us after a month? 6) What formation does he use frequently? 7) Does he like to play players out of position? 8) What's Tim Breaker and your other coaches like, any good or a bunch of cretins? Some of their names bother me. 9) Does Paul Sturrock really eat over a dozen fried egg sandwiches a day? 10) Does Holloway wear a suit on matchdays or will he be sporting our horrible Jako Tracksuit regalia? Just been doing some research and the Plymouth lot have gone on record to say that they are playing some of their best passing football 'for years' under Holloway, i'm sure that will change to 'long ball merchant' now he's done the dirty on them though.

Plymouth results to date are, Played 16 Home results - Won 3 Drew 4 Lost 1 Away results - Won 3 Drew 2 Lost 3 Not a bad average.

During his time at argyle he introduced a fair few youngsters to the team including Dan Gosling who now plays for england U18. Although he also bought Barry Hayles in the summer who is around 34!! 3) Is he attack minded, or a defensive buffet manager like Megson? Attack 4) What's his transfer record like, a nose for a bargain? Being at plymouth he had to have a nose for a bargain. He bought in sinclair on loan who i can only say is going to play for england one day. Lets face it though you have the money to bring in experanced quality players so it doesnt matter too much. 5) Is he actually very funny? Yeah the standard of football we have been watching at home park over the last year has been good quality and i have througly enjoyed going to games.
