davieG Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Optimistic, Pessimistic, Same old same old!!!!!
MPH Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 from what i understand holloway is a 4-4-2 kind of man , so im optermistic that we will have some width getting in there!! give us the chance to express ourselves a bit. a win on sat and then a win in front of the cameras and everything will look rosy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I swear this is like our 4th/5th "new era" of 2007 He wont win his 1st game because were Leicester City so ill go Score Draw
Manwell Pablo Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Seeing as a Leicester Manager hasn't won his first game in charge since Victorian times, we're away, to 4th place Bristol City who we haven't lost to since 1992, who just got tonked 6-0 by Ipswitch, I'd say tomorrow has "ABSLOUTE BEATING" Written all over it, knowing us we'll stuff them and then lose 1-0 to Cardiff at home.
He's not bald Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Draw.New manager, same old Leicester. It's written in the stars New Manager, first game=equals defeat, that's the way of things However it's the nature of that defeat that will be important tomorrow.
DB11 Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I think it will be 1-1, us leading at half time.
Jack Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 To be honest i'd be content with a point, Ashton Gate is not an easy place to go.
Cheese Me Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Win - someone has got to first game in charge at some point. Why not Ollie
Phube Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Seeing as a Leicester Manager hasn't won his first game in charge since Victorian times, we're away, to 4th place Bristol City who we haven't lost to since 1992, who just got tonked 6-0 by Ipswitch, I'd say tomorrow has "ABSLOUTE BEATING" Written all over it, knowing us we'll stuff them and then lose 1-0 to Cardiff at home. But I do believe it is something like 1954!! And 20-odd managers!!! This has got to be broken at some point... hasn't it!!??
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Bloody hell, one of the first things he's said is that Kaebi won't be making the trip because he picked up an injury in training this morning. That's the most we've heard about Kaebi since Allen. Holloway is getting my full backing now.
Raj Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 To be honest i'd be content with a point, Ashton Gate is not an easy place to go. It is if you have Sat Nav!
James. Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I've gone for a score draw. All I really want though is for the team to play 4-4-2 and have a right go and for the fans to sing that Jingle Bells Holloway song. That'd make me content.
sdb Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I think we'll lose but i'm optimistic long-term. GO OGMONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simi Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I think we'll lose but i'm optimistic long-term.GO OGMONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finnegan Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Any respect I had for Ched.... ... just died.
The Reverend Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Bloody hell, one of the first things he's said is that Kaebi won't be making the trip because he picked up an injury in training this morning. That's the most we've heard about Kaebi since Allen. Holloway is getting my full backing now. He did mention Kaebi, for a moment i forgot who he was! As he said in the conference, hes not the sort of manager who doesnt give players a chance, and even if they do do badly, its over for them. I think he likes a risk, and had a few foreigners at Argyle. I think we may see a re-invigorated Kaebi with Holloway here. Hopefully anyway!
lookwhaticando Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Reinvigorated... with a new injury. Intense.
OzFox311 Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I think he will give us the drive and determination needed to give the players we have the belief they need to do well.. I can see us getting close to the promotion places this year TBH and I think we'll get a win this weekend...
