SamL Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Lets Get Real People! What Are The Chances Of Kaebi Playing? You never know. New manager, new slate & all. Gotta be better than Newton surely. I'm not one of these people who thinks Kaebi would take the league by storm and that he is the saviour to all of our problems. Because he's not. I'd just like to see him given a chance in midfield. I haven't seen him play no, but i've seen Newton and he is poor.
Calum McDermott Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Fulop Stearman Kisnorbo McAuley Sheehan Kaebi Clemence Wesolowski Hayes Hume DJ Kaebi .. i hope but doubt it!!! DJ .. holloway already said he thinks hes a cracking player but looked dejected a few weeks back for city!
Milans Foxes Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Fulop Stearman Kisnorbo McAuley Sheehan Kaebi Clemence Wesolowski Hayes Hume DJ Kaebi .. i hope but doubt it!!! DJ .. holloway already said he thinks hes a cracking player but looked dejected a few weeks back for city! Didn't you just say he didnt play well tonight. If holloway was watching, surely he wont pick him unless he expects him to raise his game for the first team!
stevie909 Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 1. no need to get rid of stearman at all. putting in the effort, scoring goals. 2. kaebi? whyyyyyyyyy 3. mattock put in a good performance for me on monday, so hayes would be on my bench. 4. king was infinitely better than weso when he came on. barely put a foot wrong until losing it on the edge of the box, so he gets the nod 5. one thing im not sure is whether to play campbell or hume, leaving us with; Fulop Stearz Mcauley Kisnorbo Sheehan Hume/Newton Clem King Mattock John Campbell/Hume
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 I think Jimmy Neilsen has paid his dues and deserves a spot
Thracian Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Lets Get Real People! What Are The Chances Of Kaebi Playing? About as good as they've been so far, considering the injury situation.

davieG Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Didn't you just say he didnt play well tonight. If holloway was watching, surely he wont pick him unless he expects him to raise his game for the first team! Yes but he also saw and subbed Newton on Monday
Calum McDermott Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Didn't you just say he didnt play well tonight. If holloway was watching, surely he wont pick him unless he expects him to raise his game for the first team! Holloway wasn't there! although taggart may report back to him. I think he is more likely to pick the team with what he sees in training.

davieG Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Leicester City striker Carl Cort could make a welcome return to the fold when the Foxes take on Southampton at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday. Cort picked up a knee injury in the 1-0 defeat to Burnley earlier this month - forcing him out of the subsequent games against Bristol City and Cardiff City. City are already down to the bare bones on the striker front - with DJ Campbell (knee), Collins John (hamstring), Elvis Hammond (ankle) and Matty Fryatt (suspended) all missing this weekend. But Cort was back on the training pitches today (Thursday), and Holloway is hopeful that he will be able to make a timely return this weekend. He said: Matty (Fryatt) has played exceptionally well for us and I am very disappointed that he will now miss the next three games. I am devastated to have lost him but it will give someone else a chance. But Big Corty is fit so we will have a look at that. "DJ is going to be another couple of weeks, while Collins John is back in London. He had one or two bits and pieces to sort out, which I gave him permission to do. He's getting treatment down at Fulham and he will hopefully be back with us ahead of our game against Burnley on Tuesday. That would be good news for us."
Calum McDermott Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Neither will be for Saturday, Cort happens to be though, allegedly. Oh god!! i'd rather have big sapps up top rather than cort
Joe. Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 " Leicester City striker Carl Cort could make a welcome return to the fold" Welcome return?! Welcome return?! My arse.
alex Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 I concursubs: Hendo, N'Gotty, Hayes, King, Chambers J, Sappletiser Nice number of subs... I don't believe DJ will be fit in time. Therefore I would play: Fulop Kenton McAulay Kisnorbo Mattock Stearman Weso Clem Sheehan Hume Cort
Bert Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Dj is out for another 2 weeks. Expect a lot of crosses and full backs to overlap this saturday.
ceebeefox Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 " Leicester City striker Carl Cort could make a welcome return to the fold"Welcome return?! Welcome return?! My arse. Let's all reserve judgement on Cort. He has played in an ultra defensive system most of the season and apart from a couple of games away from the walkers I can't recall him have a cross to attack yet! Play 4-4-2 whip some balls in and he will score goals if fit ( and that is a big if). His link up play has been okay IMO ( when the other 9 defenders have punted the ball close to him that is) , and this is my thoughts backed up also by a Wolves season ticket holder who works with me who said he will get 20 if fit this year.
Simon Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Based on what I know about the injury situation, here's what I'd go with: Fulop Stearman N'Gotty Kisnorbo Sheehan Kaebi Weso Clem Hayes Hume Chambers Subs: Hendo, Cort, Chambers, Ohiambo, Mattock
coale39 Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Based on what I know about the injury situation, here's what I'd go with:Fulop Stearman N'Gotty Kisnorbo Sheehan Kaebi Weso Clem Hayes Hume Chambers Subs: Hendo, Cort, Chambers, Ohiambo, Mattock Agreed. I really dont wanna see Newton on the wing, ever. I would class Odihembo, chambers, Kaebi, Hume and stearman ahead of him, hes that bad. He shouldn't even be in the squad, maybe in Huddersfield squad as back up....
maddog Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Lets Get Real People! What Are The Chances Of Kaebi Playing? A very big chance. He's already played Hayes, Chambers, King. What were the chances of them playing before?
