Finnegan Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Something Thought Provoking. [see? For posting Something Thought Provoking, there's just one master.]
Finnegan Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? Because the phrase is love is blind, not Hugh Hefner's blind.
lookwhaticando Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 It's anyone's title this year since BartonFox did a bunk.
Rincewind Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 Man with hole in pocket feels it's time he got himself a wife. It's a factf of life that the number people you can rely on as friends in times of trouble are few yet the number of people that rely on you as a friend in times of trouble are many.
Babylon Posted 8 December 2007 Author Posted 8 December 2007 To be honest, i'm just chuffed i've received more than one vote (unlike previous years). Strange considering i've posted less this year than ever before ha.

Thracian Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it. There is, I gather, an estimated two years of doubt ahead. All hangs on tests at a new facility in Switzerland (presumably connected to CERN). But it would be interesting if bets were being taken.

Thracian Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 is this the one thatif it goes wrong, the universe could implode? I did read something about that but not, from memory, in the article I was referring too though logically they'd be bound to connect. I've no idea if CERN would or could play with anything that might result in the implosion of our universe because experiments at particle physics facilities are way beyond me. Nearest I got to what goes on at CERN was coaching their squash team.

It's that word blantent that's got me thinking Babs.
Lemon Harpic Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 History Fact: The 'Thought Provoking' category was only invented to stop Lemon Harpic winning the 'Most Controversial' category, thus giving him the attention he craves to boost his pathetic little ego and making him even more unbearable. However, it backfired. Many people have won different awards, but how many people can say that an entire category has been retired because of them? Mwahahahahaha. Mwahahaha. Meh.

You're still on my shortlist.

Rincewind Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 I never win anything so I doubt that I'll get any votes even in the negative catagories.
Ultra Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Except there are no negative categories this year (which means I can't win them.. )
Thracian Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 I never win anything so I doubt that I'll get any votes even in the negative catagories. Perhaps we should have a Most Knowledgeable Tippler section. My sources say you'd give anyone a run for their money in that section - including Ultra.
