This is a proper clearout!

I'll be disgusted if Hume isn't 1 of the 4. He's are only really class player and heaven knows where we'd be without him. Not that we can get much lower but he's the only player who has talent, scores and gives 100%.

I'd keep him, kisnorbo, fulop, weso and clem. the rest i wouldnt worry about too much. there's 9 or 10 i'd actually love to see go.

I've watched most Leicester gamesboth home and away this season. I think all the players ahve got the ability to perform, but just don't have the confidence or guts or may be even the desire to do it. The same players that spanked Watford 4 - 1 and Bristol City away 2 - 0 for instance are still in the side. there's just something they've got going on in their heads, stopping them from performing. I don't know if there's a few bad egs in the side, dragging down the others, but its weird how the same players can be awesome (rarely) one week and unbelievably rubbish the next. Its so frustrating.

Out of the current team, if they're really having a massive clear out, I'd definately want to keep the following players:

Fulop - we should do our best to sign him. He's the best keeper we've had since Shilts! Has not any mistakes all season and has kept us in many games or at least prevented us being TOTALLY embarrassed!!

Hume - I think he's over-rated, but out of the current bunch of losers, he's the one who makes the most effort. I think we need that right now. Get rid of those with no heart for a fight....... of which there's many!

Fryatt - unless Ollie can get someone better in, I think we should keep him. Despite his lack of pace, he's good at holding up the ball, brings other players into the game and is quality in front of goal. Lets face it, any striker needs good players around them to provide him with chances and he's hardly had a sniff with the dross that currently surrounds him! Wouldn't put him and Hume together upfront though

Clemence - I think he's also over-rated, but he's a tryer and is a proven and has Premiership experience.

Kisnorbo - Some of the tackles and blocks he makes are world class. He also chips in with his fair share of goals from set pieces and is alays a good bet for 1st / Last goal, often at around 18 - 1!!

Players I'd definately try to replace (who currently play in the first team) would be Stearman, Cort and N'Gotty. I think other youngsters are too young and inexperienced at the moment although I'm particularly impressed with Ashley Chamber and Jonathon Hayes. Hayes is hard a f**k and has a massive urgency about him and is great to watch!

The rest of the team is made up of these youngster and I think its difficult to blame them for much, but I think more experienced players should be brought in to replace these until they're ready.

Other than that, player who don't feature in either the 1st of Rezzies, should be off-loaded.

To be fair, Milan has said we're looking at bringing in around 5 players right?

So if we're getting rid of our whole squad and bringing in 5, we're only left with 9 which doesn't even cover a starting 11.

Don't know if this has been mentioned?

We're not getting rid of the whole squad though, it's basically that they will leave if an offer is received.

Yeh, how can we get rid of all except 4??? We'd have not enough for one team let alone subs. Not all of what we have is that bad to get rid of so many, unless they plan on buying a totally new squad?....

I would have though McAuley would be the one going to Fulham, given the Northern Ireland connection with Lawrie Sanchez. If him and Kisnorbo go then we'd need a new CB, those two have been pretty good for us together and formed a good partnership, so need somebody else of that calibre to fit the bill.

I don't believe this four player thing for a second. Makes no sense.

Excellent someone with some sense.

This makes no sense whatsoever. From a new member who has posted very little and refuses to name his source. What makes you think this is another wind up?????

We're not going to sell all but four players - Ollie "apparently" has 4 players that he will not sell, the rest of them if an offer comes in, he will accept it and give them the opportuinity to leave.

We're 21st in the championship, whose going to want the majoirty of our squad, teams want to improve. If the players were that good, Ollie wouldn't make them available.

There are only 4 players that Ollie as decided to not make available, the rest can go if anyone wants them. One of the 4 is at present on loan.

This seems like good business. Megson's 'much of a muchness' comes to mind.

LCFC squad - piss or get off the pot!

Ollie - ditto

Come on ye boys in blue . . . .

We will beat WW on Sat - 2 - 1 - Ngotty and Sheehan - Free kick.

Jesus, 4 of the players we don't want to sell/lose, the rest can go if we get the right offer.

Am I the only one reading it like this and not assuming the whole bastard squad's got their bags packed ready for new years day to leave on the firts train out of Leicester?

This is great! finally someone who is working hard to shift the shit!!

And he'll know what hard work is by the time he's finished.

Cos I reckon it would be embarrasing to know what some of our players are paid and there is NO WAY most of em are ever gonna get offered such generous terms elsewhere.

It makes no difference to me if you believe what i've posted or not Blue Bob, i'm just a city fan who gets to know whats going on behind the scenes and if it doesn't cause any problems I stick bits up on Leicester forums. What i've posted on here the last couple of days will prove right or wrong over the next few weeks, some you will be easy to identify others not. Howard as a done deal, Kavanagh offer and the player going to Fulham, I know the name but it wouldn't really be fair if I quoted it, some have allready sussed it anyway. I used to post on the Foxfanzine site and have put things up that have happened some time later (check who posted the name of the last 2 or 3 managers a long time before the press got wind). Not trying to be clever its just stuff that i'm interested in, what other fans think about, and I enjoy their views. Some stuff that comes out doesn't come through like every thing in life, but most do. Cheers anyway.

With 4 definites plus 4/5 coming in that means at least 7 players in his 'final' squad will be players he's told can go if an offer comes in.

Wow I bet they're are fired up and ready to fight for LCFC. I can see the enthusiasm spreading though out the club.

Seems to have a totally different approach to building rapport than he did when he first came. These players may now appear crap in his eyes but this will hardly create the all for one spirit.

Something drastic had to be done, i'm sure he's done the right thing. I think it will work as a wake up call for some of them others will just fold, like sorting the chaff from the wheat. I reckon Saturday will see some commitment and effort that we haven't seen for some time. By the way I don't think he is pointing the finger at players who haven't played many first team games, players like Chambers.

If Kisnorbo goes to Fulham that will give us chance to find a faster centre-back and one who doesn't give the ball away so much.

Kisnorbo's been an excellent defender in many ways, 100% heart and always there with a last ditch challenge. But, covering other players he's ordinary and bringing the ball out of defence he's all the things we didn't like in him as a midfielder.

We can do better.

I'd still rather see McAuley go than him.

We're a championship side, still playing players that we signed on a shoestring budget. They're not going to be world beaters are they? Every player has their faults.

Kisnorbo has been a revelation at centre back. His priority is to defend, not bring the ball out of defence. Just like Kaebi's priority is to provide width and goals.

(No dig, but it's the best example i have at this time of night/morning)
