And if they don't get it they should let the centre-backs know about it.

Meandering central defenders who amble forward 20/30 yards and loft hopeful passes in the air should be the subject of restraining orders.

About sums it up although I wouldn't say a player has to stop learning just cos he's 30. Especially such a simple thing as just passing the ball 10 yards. Neil Lennon seems to manager alright although I imagine he was playing little wall passes in the womb.

What worries me is bringing in such a large number of players is a) going to make our squad the biggest in the football league, and b) disrupt the remaining first team players. Uh. I don't know. A clear out is a necessary function to move forward but it could be painful. I just hope Ollie knows what he's doing.

With 4 definites plus 4/5 coming in that means at least 7 players in his 'final' squad will be players he's told can go if an offer comes in.

Seems to have a totally different approach to building rapport than he did when he first came. These players may now appear crap in his eyes but this will hardly create the all for one spirit.

If Holloway has told some they can go if offers come in and offers don't come in, then it's down to them to be fired up and prove him wrong. I've seen managers do this before and the out of favour players have found the motivation in being told they aren't wanted and gone on to do very well for the club.

I'd be surprised to see us sign any more than about 7 or 8 players next month though so we'll need to keep about 12 players back at least.

This is total rubbish, didn't anyone see the local news last night when they said 6 players were told to find a club by mid-january or their contracts would just be paid up This comes along with the news that Mandaric has said we'll get 4 or 5 new players. So basically it's the midfield's fault.

To be honest I rarely see one of our midfielders bursting into space, desperate to receive the ball off the centre-backs. Clemence has done that a bit this season but no-one did it last year.

Kisnorbo is a limited player when the ball is at his feet and our midfield should be alleviating that problem. There are plenty of excellent Championship centre-halves who don't have to be Beckenbauer coming out of defence because they have easy options.

It would appear the whoever is the Manager of LCFC is in a lose lose situation.

If Ollie decided to stick with the current squad and try to improve them, he would lack ambition and have no real qualities, however.... if he decided (as he has) that the players previous managers have signed arnt up to the job and he needs to replace them he gets blasted again for trying to make too many changes or disrupting the so called harmony at the club.

As for the crap about us only having a '9 man final squad'.. ****ing get real. What Ollie is insinuating is that if players don't improve then they will be replaced, he is not a fictional character from Football Manager who will sell all his players with no idea on what the next step is or rely on the 30,000 free transfers like jodi Morris & Matt Jansen and whoever else you lot sign for **** all....

He needs to cut the squad size anyway as Belvoir Drive is fast turning into a scene from Zulu and then he will systematically replace players to improve the squad.

I'd imagine Elvis's contract is running down by now and his fitness problems will make it unlikely he'll get another. His pace and strength have has been sadly missed as an option this season.

Sounds fair to me - let's be honest chaps, the team isn't any good at the moment, we're one point off the drop zone and it's not looking like we're going to be improving any time soon.

Stick em all in the 'shop window' and let other clubs know if they want them they can have them. In the players minds they now got a choice - do I work my nuts off to stay at Leicester or do I work my nuts off to get noticed by another team. Either way Leicester City benefits from an increas in effort (and lets face it, they'd be doing well to play any worse).

Absolutely. Not got a bad word to say about Kenton at the minute, the way he's played in midfield as well, is testiment to his character. I hope he's kept on as he's a valuable squad player.
