stevec Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 If De Vries was in our first team plans, surely Ollie would have recalled him in our recent striker crisis. He's injured again - out for a month with a groin strain. Probably when putting his boots on.
Simi Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 If Shaun Newton isn't one of them I'm going to be sick.
Messi Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 DouglasMaybury Hammond Kishishev De Vries Hellings Nielson Newton Fo' Sho'. YEAH THAT SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT MATE
Asha Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 YEAH THAT SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT MATE Agreed, with that shite out we'll look better straight away.
Simi Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Ollie has recently mentioned that he wants to bring in wingers and strikers. It would really confuse me if he was to let N Gotty go as that would almost certainly leave us short in the centre of defence. But I'm sure all will become clear sooner or later.

Sappleton might be let go
Simi Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Sappleton might be let go Wouldn't of thought so, but obviously your post is a little sarcastic. I'd of had Sappleton down as one of Milans men that he wanted to bring in. To me, it wouldn't make sense to release a youngster at this time.
Zingari Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 KisnorboMattock Clemence Wesolowski Hume James Chambers Fryatt i hope not ; but who knows
Calum McDermott Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 DouglasMaybury Hammond Hellings Nielsen Newton Kenton and one, possibly Stearman would be my guesses he would NOT tell stearman to leave, he has too much potential. He obviously is a decent player otherwise he owuld not be selected for the u21 squad!
RowlattsFox Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Carl Cort Sergio Hellings Hossien Kaebi Alan Maybury Shaun Newton Rab Douglas Jimmy Neilsen They were on the back of the Mercury today, theres probably another one but i cant remember who. I didnt read the story but i guess these are the ones being released/sold.
danny. Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 ridiculous to release kaebi. No I'm not being a kaebi fanboy who thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread, but he has had 1.5 games!!! Hardly a chance to prove himself either way. I really think with better players around him who can actually pick out a run and pass the ball he could be a great player at this level. Likewise for hellings, he hasn't played one game, seems bazaar unless he is truly awful.

I didnt read the story but i guess these are the ones being released/sold. Yup they're the ones who have been told that they're not needed. The rest of the story was about Fulop and how we might bid for him when he goes back to Sunderland. Oh and that Lee Cox will be in the squad today after impressing Ollie.
The Stig Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Nielsen Douglas Newton Hellings Maybury Cort
Asha Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 If Kaebi and Cort were always going, why does he keep playing them

Bellend Sebastian Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 If Kaebi and Cort were always going, why does he keep playing them I'm guessing but probably: a) so he can see how good they are in competitive games b) because he doesn't have many other options until he brings players in The list isn't a massive surprise, is it? I think most of us would have got to within a player or so of that
syston_fox Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 I'm guessing but probably:a) so he can see how good they are in competitive games b) because he doesn't have many other options until he brings players in The list isn't a massive surprise, is it? I think most of us would have got to within a player or so of that True! Kaebi is the only one Im shocked about after Ollie came out and said he thought he did alright against Ipswich. He wasn't even the worst player on the pitch against Hull but obviously there's no point in keeping him if he's not gonna feature in the plans for the team. I actually feel a bit for the lad after we wasted his time and he had to up roots and try and settle in England because I bet he was promised first team football every week by Martin Allen.

Father Ted Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Hypocritical too, as he has singled those two out for praise more thn a few times recently. Exactly, what on earth is Holloway playing at Never believe anything he says its just verbal diarrhoea.
danny. Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 he does talk out of his arse most of the time, like everything he said is trying to be some kind of joke
Jay Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Exactly, what on earth is Holloway playing at Never believe anything he says its just verbal diarrhoea. but who knows exactly what went on? it might of been a case of you are either with me in wanting to take this club forward or you want to take the easy option and walk away
Asha Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Exactly, what on earth is Holloway playing at Never believe anything he says its just verbal diarrhoea. He is really pissing me off. What's the betting that Cort still plays today, after i just put a fiver on for a Cort hat-trick at 80-1
Jonezy Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 I believe Ollie got it about right. I think he just wanted to see what Kaebi was made of, before making a decision, and has got to the conclusion, that Kaebi is not worth gambling on with his struggles to get integrated in English culture. Cort is a little surprise, I think, but if Ollie wants a new striker (Howard) he must make way for it. I hope Milan will pay up, if they dont find new clubs, so we once and for all get rid of some deadwood. Well done to Ollie for having the guts to make the first step!
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Someone chuck them all on EBAY - see if we get any bidders! Pro-active supporting, i like it!
