I have NEVER applied that logic and have explained many times how I've rated people like Kisnorbo as 0.5 of a potential scorer.

Hume playing striker I'd rate as being an attacker and he'd get one full point as a potential goalscorer.

But playing wide left he's there to harry QPR for possesion and support attacks. In other words he's acting as much as a defender as an attacker and that would seem to be clear from the commentary.

And I don't know why we have two essentially defensive midfield players in Clemence and N'Gotty - and one and a half-defensive wide midfielders while creative people like King and Sheehan are pushed out of things just because they don't race around like idiots or hit people like trains.
