My bad, it was 2-1

Wow, 4 successive home wins.

In fact, we havnt lost to them since we were promoted have we?

Nope, i remember losing 3-0 to them at Filbert Street Fa Cup i think. Coffee Break  That ugly kit as well.

We didn't lose to them in 2002/2003 either, we could be talking years and years since they last beat us.

Still, you'd have to fancy their chances of at least a point on Saturday. They're in fine form and we, putting it mildly, aren't

good on paper....would like an experienced left back still. Hope he plays Hume up top not Hayles

some service from crosses for Howard who's won everything in the air for 1 and a half games would be good

Considering we know nothing about the two wingers I wouldn't say it was good on paper.

Chambers - N'Gotty/McAuley - Kisnorbo - Sheehan

Bori - King / Osbourne - Clemence - Lackszo

Hume Howard

Might take a bit of time to settle in with so many debuts being made, but then again the players who have been playing together for a while ain't exactly setting the world alight

They're Eastern European, there for they must be amazing. Have you not seen Akos Buzaky Peter Halmosi and Zoltan Gera play?

Just how many players is Holloway bidding for? It's amazing. I applaud him for his refusal to put all of his eggs in one basket.

Bori

Norris

Osbourne

Kavanagh

Martin

Pecnik

Allegedly bids in for all of them within the past few days. I'd laugh if all of them get accepted.

Is Osbourne a holding or creative midfielder?

Holding i thought

they are wingers! whether or not they are any good its more attractive on paper than any of our right backs, forwards or midfielders playing out wide!

I'm still not convinced of Stearman and Mattock doing the job for us. Mattock for in a year or two with a little more experience behind him maybe, but i'm not impressed with Stearman tbh.

Sorry, my bad.

Holloway expects to complete a loan deal today for Laczko's fellow Hungarian winger Gabor Bori from MTK Budapest, and the City boss is also lining up Aston Villa's Isiah Osbourne on a month's loan.

The speedy midfielder is set to go straight into the side against Coventry on Saturday along with Laczko and Bori.

From the Merc

(and ha my first starting a thread - like ever on foxestalk - go p*ss on my parade and tell me someone else already posted this :) )

Unless I'm going mad, I can't see it anywhere in our Merc - Hinckley Edition???

1-3 April 01, during the run of NINE straight defeats under Taylor.

The cup defeat was in 99.
