Sods Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 My bad, it was 2-1Wow, 4 successive home wins. In fact, we havnt lost to them since we were promoted have we? Nope, i remember losing 3-0 to them at Filbert Street Fa Cup i think. Coffee Break That ugly kit as well.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 My bad, it was 2-1Wow, 4 successive home wins. In fact, we havnt lost to them since we were promoted have we? We didn't lose to them in 2002/2003 either, we could be talking years and years since they last beat us. Still, you'd have to fancy their chances of at least a point on Saturday. They're in fine form and we, putting it mildly, aren't
Stevosevic Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 A prize to the person who can the name the last time we lost to Coventry.
Sods Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 A prize to the person who can the name the last time we lost to Coventry. Was it the 3-0 i said
Steven Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 According to the Mercury we are lining up a loan deal for the Villa Midfielder This has been posted in the main forum.
Ric Flair Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Happy. A prize to the person who can the name the last time we lost to Coventry. John Hartson tore us to pieces.
BedsFox Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Alnwick Stearman Kisnorbo McAuley Mattock Bori Osbourne Clemence Lackszo Hume Howard good on paper....would like an experienced left back still. Hope he plays Hume up top not Hayles some service from crosses for Howard who's won everything in the air for 1 and a half games would be good

Hope he plays Hume up top not Hayles some service from crosses for Howard who's won everything in the air for 1 and a half games would be good Considering we know nothing about the two wingers I wouldn't say it was good on paper.
Guest Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Alnwick Chambers - N'Gotty/McAuley - Kisnorbo - Sheehan Bori - King / Osbourne - Clemence - Lackszo Hume Howard Might take a bit of time to settle in with so many debuts being made, but then again the players who have been playing together for a while ain't exactly setting the world alight
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Considering we know nothing about the two wingers I wouldn't say it was good on paper. They're Eastern European, there for they must be amazing. Have you not seen Akos Buzaky Peter Halmosi and Zoltan Gera play?
Ric Flair Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Just how many players is Holloway bidding for? It's amazing. I applaud him for his refusal to put all of his eggs in one basket. Bori Norris Osbourne Kavanagh Martin Pecnik Allegedly bids in for all of them within the past few days. I'd laugh if all of them get accepted.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 We've only dropped two points at home to Cov in four games against them at the Walkers haven't we? We've never dropped points at home to Cov !!!
Sods Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Is Osbourne a holding or creative midfielder? Holding i thought
Ric Flair Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 We've never dropped points at home to Cov !!! I dropped me pint at The Walkers when I saw Jonno nod one in last season, piss everywhere.
BedsFox Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Considering we know nothing about the two wingers I wouldn't say it was good on paper. they are wingers! whether or not they are any good its more attractive on paper than any of our right backs, forwards or midfielders playing out wide!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 A prize to the person who can the name the last time we lost to Coventry. 3-0 at home in the FA Cup - 2001 I think???

Hope he plays Hume up top not Hayles some service from crosses for Howard who's won everything in the air for 1 and a half games would be good I'm still not convinced of Stearman and Mattock doing the job for us. Mattock for in a year or two with a little more experience behind him maybe, but i'm not impressed with Stearman tbh.
Babylon Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 They're Eastern European, there for they must be amazing. Have you not seen Akos Buzaky Peter Halmosi and Zoltan Gera play? Sorry, my bad.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Holloway expects to complete a loan deal today for Laczko's fellow Hungarian winger Gabor Bori from MTK Budapest, and the City boss is also lining up Aston Villa's Isiah Osbourne on a month's loan. The speedy midfielder is set to go straight into the side against Coventry on Saturday along with Laczko and Bori. From the Merc (and ha my first starting a thread - like ever on foxestalk - go p*ss on my parade and tell me someone else already posted this ) Unless I'm going mad, I can't see it anywhere in our Merc - Hinckley Edition???
andyh1884 Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Unless I'm going mad, I can't see it anywhere in our Merc - Hinckley Edition??? From the Mockery website: Two players signing
stevec Posted 8 January 2008 Author Posted 8 January 2008 Unless I'm going mad, I can't see it anywhere in our Merc - Hinckley Edition??? Sorry - yes it was the Dundee and district Mercury - do you not read that? http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/disp...tentPK=19484984
