Mark Posted 29 January 2008 Posted 29 January 2008 Coincidence that since Osbourne has been recalled, O'Neill was spotted at the match last night, possibly watching Stearman and is preparing a bid for Stearman that includes us taking Osbourne for the rest of the season? I wonder
Asha Posted 29 January 2008 Posted 29 January 2008 Do we really need Osbourne? I mean really? With Clemence and Oakley in the middle, with Weso as back up I can't really see the imminent need for a short term deal for a midfielder who has little experience.

I wonder Stearman is nowhere near good enough for a top half prem team. i'm not slagging him as i thibk he's good at this level, but I reckon he was looking at Mattock.

MPH Posted 29 January 2008 Posted 29 January 2008 Or Weso?He seemed interested in him after watching him in the cup game last year. It would be interesting for him to want weso when he has already got osbourne...... both promising young midfielders who do a similar kind of job... besides.. weso wasnt playing last night so stearman would seem the more likely target..
MPH Posted 29 January 2008 Posted 29 January 2008 villa fans seem to think MON is eyeing up Stearman and Mattock. http://www.villatalk.com/index.php?name=PN...sc&start=30 I can see it goes like this.... He signs stearman and loans him back for the rest of the season and we get Osbourne. on loan , me thinks.

You sure they weren't talking about Darren Osbourne, the millionth customer at Wilkinsons? Free carpet tacks for life apparently, lucky sod.
The People's Hero Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 You sure they weren't talking about Darren Osbourne, the millionth customer at Wilkinsons?Free carpet tacks for life apparently, lucky sod. Nah, it was free carpet tax, Daggers. He can have as much carpet as he likes, but he still just pays the base flat rate of Carpet Tax.

Your both wrong tsk tsk... It was Tarpaulin Caps, handy little gems that secure the eyelets in each corner, and it was only 4 a month for the rest of his life!
