The People's Hero Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Pah - let's whack this in the wrong thread - let the mods/admin earn their keep. Right, it's Friday and my girlfriend is ill (ergo no packed lunch prepared for me this morning). I have 5 pounds in my pocket (which my girlfriend doesn't know about) and I plan to spend it all on my lunch. What shall I go for? What have you lot got? Do you make a special effort on fridays? I really like the burger king 9 pepper burger or whatever it calls itself. It's pricey - but very nicey (I might apply for a job in their 'slogans' department).
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I'm going to swap to the other end of the office and have Jason Koumas on a roll(ing contract) with a side of eleven strikers.

I had a Jason Koumas panini the other day, but it got stuck to my mouth. Probably should have just stuck it in my sticker album instead. OLE! (that joke was about 2 years old and due an airing).
Ric Flair Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I'm going to have a Robert Earnshaw-t Crust Puff Pastry Steak & Ale Pie from the canteen.

James. Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 That's £3.01 to spend on tins of ale for this evening.Ace. Isn't Tesco value beer cheaper than their water or something. It WILL taste shocking but then it's Friday night and £3.01 would probably buy you a fair amount...

OriginalRobboFOX Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 You cannot go wrong with Lomana Lua Lua Lamb Shank.... In all seriousness though, I think Subway is the way forward today...
The People's Hero Posted 11 January 2008 Author Posted 11 January 2008 Greggs pasty - 75p ....your ale budget has now increased by 25%! 75p eh? I could offer to do the office run and charge them all £2 each, increasing my beer budget to a huge amount (perhaps a bottle of cheap wine + some cheap beers?)
Daggers Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I'm going for the full Elvis Hammond...fruit and water. It's fast and leaves you desperately unsatisfied.
The People's Hero Posted 11 January 2008 Author Posted 11 January 2008 I'm going for the full Elvis Hammond...fruit and water. It's fast and leaves you desperately unsatisfied. I can see it now. Daggers (ankle). Why haven't the mods/admin moved this? They're no fun anymore. Think they just lack the requisite balls, personally.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Hurray for the admin woman leaving. That chocolate chip cookie is going to see me through until lunchtime.
Monk Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Go into your nearest sushi bar, and purchase 2 Salmon Nigiri. Any change should be spent on a packet of Flame Grilled Steak McCoys
Ric Flair Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Hurray for the admin woman leaving. That chocolate chip cookie is going to see me through until lunchtime. That must explain why this hasn't been moved yet, davie has left.

The People's Hero Posted 11 January 2008 Author Posted 11 January 2008 Hurray for the admin woman leaving. That chocolate chip cookie is going to see me through until lunchtime. I'm struggling. I have a packet of hob nobs and some parma violets upstairs, saved for a rainy day. It is raining, and this is a day, and I am getting desperate. I'm gonna go for it.

Ha, I'm lucky to get Chilli on a jacket from the caf over the road, I'll more than likely have to settle for a bacon torp.
