lcfcmad2005 Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 what do you think is Citys strongest 11 when everyones fit heres mine: GK: ALNWICK. always LB: SHEEHAN. for all the balls he put in the box and his freekicks CB: KISNORBO. cause he is such a threat in the air CB: McCAULEY. like above RB: STEARMAN. because of his late good form and also a threat LM: LACZKO. STAR MAN AGAINT COV RM: BORI or KAEBI. just because of all the big deal about him from summer, and i like to see him play CM: OAKLEY AND CLEMENCE. no arguing about that. ST: HOWARD. gonna score a lot more goals, 100% player ST: HUME. just because of his alround game and work rate and always gives 100% for this club, and if he doesnt score he usually set someone up HAYLES TO BE AN IMPACT PLAYER FROM THE BENCH.

I can already see Thracian spluttering all over the screen and preparing a riposte.
Bert Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Fantastic.I can already see Thracian spluttering all over the screen and preparing a riposte. He's going to call the police isn't he?
davieG Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Fantastic.I can already see Thracian spluttering all over the screen and preparing a riposte. His post is a bit of a contradiction/cop out. It's supposed to be his strongest 11 and yet he puts in a player he seems to have never seen play and even then he can't make a decision. I'd like to see his strongest team
lcfcmad2005 Posted 16 January 2008 Author Posted 16 January 2008 He's going to call the police isn't he? ive only see him play on the video clips on you tube and he looks good

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Those that played against Cov on Saturday, with DJ replacing Hume up front.
sdb Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 anyone who leaves out Hume from their strongest 11 is tres strange imo Alnwick; Chambers - Kiss - McG - Mattock; Lazcko - Clem - Oakley - Bori; Hume - Howard

A better reserve keeper would be nice other than that it's not looking too bad.
The Reverend Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Alnwick Stearman 'Norbo Big Mac Mattock Bori Clem Oaks Laczko Howard Hume I'll give Stearman a chance in this new look team. Hopefully it'll up his performance. Especially with a proper player in front of him. Same with Mattock. Still not sure out of Hume or DJ. I'll go for Hume at the minute.
mancunianfox Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Alnwick Stearman N'Gotty Kisnorbo Mattock Bori Oakley Clemence Laczko Howard Hume The only hard selection for me is between N'Gotty and Mcauley.
lavrentis Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Alnwick Stearman McAuley Kisnorbo Mattock Bori Oakley Clemence Laczko Howard Hume For me.
Fox You Forest Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 AlnwickStearman 'Norbo Big Mac Mattock Bori Clem Oaks Laczko Howard Hume Good enough for me
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Isn't this basically just a Stearman/Chambers and Campbell/Hume debate?
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 anyone who leaves out Hume from their strongest 11 is tres strange imoAlnwick; Chambers - Kiss - McG - Mattock; Lazcko - Clem - Oakley - Bori; Hume - Howard Paul McGrath?!
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Isn't this basically just a Stearman/Chambers and Campbell/Hume debate? And Mattock/Sheehan (Sheehan for me at the moment). And McAuley/N'Gotty. I was a fan of McAuley but on recent form (and distribution!) I would put Bruno alongside Kisnorbo. On the other choices, I would go with Chambo and Hume. You're right, there are no real options for the rest.
Fox You Forest Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Isn't this basically just a Stearman/Chambers and Campbell/Hume debate? Yep . Not just that different player's give different option's agianst team's.The best team to play Norwich might not be the best team to play Watford for example.
