Daggers Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Anyone wondering like me if he's a bit like a firework, like a Catherine Wheel? One fizz, a whole load of whining and when you think he's finally finished it carries on for a bit longer. Not like a proper firework that'll give you a thrill but a drab one that you try to leave till last in the hope you'll forget about it and leave it in the box. Remains of an injury to the brain was offered as a lame excuse against Norwich but there were signs of a reappearance of the original Thracian against Palace. Question is can he overcome the increasingly tired posting formulae to be readable? Either way I'd rate him a collective "three" for his posts so far. That's perhaps a tad generous and, either way, a couple of points less than I hoped for. Perhaps he'll regain his sparkle in the town where Stanley Matthews used to mesmerise defenders. Barry Hayles is a genius

Thracian Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Top work - hope a few people enjoy it while it remains here. I've been discouraged from replying in case tph leaves the forum in a huff and, presumably, takes his Swan Lestas with him. Which kinda leaves me feeling like a dartboard - soaking up another volley of arrows without the means of reply. Not that I really want to reply - it's all empty flippancy and the Under 21's said it all last Saturday.
MC Prussian Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 This "Happy Thracian Slapping" has becoming repetitious. Oh well, it's more about Daggers and TPH feeding their posts-per-day-ratio ego.
Asha Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Thracian, why is he the only target? Take the piss out of others for once guys come on...use me if needs be
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 This "Happy Thracian Slapping" has becoming repetitious.Oh well, it's more about Daggers and TPH filling up their posts-per-day-ratio ego. Stop sitting there defending him as if he doesn't absolutely love the attention. If he was REALLY being so horribly, boringly bullied - we'd have acted by now (probably.)
MC Prussian Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Thracian, why is he the only target? Take the piss out of others for once guys come on...use me if needs be Let's do this together. Thracian's Army.

You can't say that !!! They have over 30,000 posts bewteen them ! They have earn that respect now. Where they can go round and attack over members for no reason.
AoWW Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Thracian, why is he the only target? Take the piss out of others for once guys come on...use me if needs be Now that's a loaded question if ever I saw one.

And you're a mod, so you should know better.
Asha Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Let's do this together. Thracian's Army. We should make a thread.
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 We should make a thread. No. You shouldn't. In fact, this one's served it's purpose. Stop fueling the fire.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 September 2008 Author Posted 15 September 2008 Vote Thracian Phrase book for thread of the year. Thank you.
syston_fox Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Vote Thracian Phrase book for thread of the year.Thank you. Maybe an award for the initial post but Maxi Gradels disguise is gonna run away with thread of the year
Thracian Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Superb.A shame that this will end up being closed or deleted. Don't know why. I probably laughed as much as anyone else. Even if MP clearly doesn't know how bad some of those foreign squash champions really were! PS: Appreciate the "Thracian Army" bit though. It does show that the "establishment" don't pull all the strings - unless they pull rank in doing so! MP can have my vote anyway - if only for the literary effort involved.
