My wife thinks Valentine's Day is a waste of time, so my usual Thursday 5-a-side won't be missed.

I'll get her a bunch of flowers next Friday when they're not twice the usual price so she can have twice as many

Sensible man!!!

I love my wife everyday of the year, not just on one!!! Plus she gets pressies\taken out on her birthday and xmas, no way am I going to spend money on a overinflated expensive occassion that has no significance to anything worthwhile!!

I believe it's actually 'gnat' and is the name for all manner of small insects. My mum & dad use that phrase all the time, as do I

Never heard of it. Pretty poor reviews on London Eating though.

Did you see my other post earlier in the thread? Had a few more possibilities on it...

I booked my table at Tayyabs, never been before. For us Valentine's is clearly gonna be more about getting drunk and eating curry. Ideal.

Ha. Ok Tayyabs - it's loud and busy. The waiters walk past with a sizzling starter and you can't breath for 30 seconds the air becomes so spicy. The place itself is in the ghetto though ha.

Can take your own alcohol, but they do an awesome jug of mango lassi. Really nice, cools the tastebuds well.

I'd reccomend you just get a load of dishes instead of choosing each. The starters are brilliant. Chicken Tikka is a must, and the Masala fish is also awesome. We filled our table so much you couldnt get all the food on, and the bill was £17. Brilliant.

Yeah I will check out those places too. Ta. You coming watford?

Oi less of the ghetto talk I used to live round there! I love Whitechapel, it has a buzz about it, especially up around Brick Lane. I go out loads round there, kind of why we chose Tayyabs so we can go out drinking before and after...

Anyway, yes sir I'm all over Watford. We should meet at Euston beforehand, PM me your mobile or something.
