Daggers Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 I reckon FT is as good as it has ever been. There's a good mix of people, there's less petty fight-picking and the O/U21's footy matches have created a social side that wasn't there before. It's all good people - it's all good.

If the legends of this forum want to leave, then surely that's their decision, but mostly it's just for the sympathy vote. The future of this forum is in people like Raj, DB11, Zingari etc. If all the old guard have had enough, this forum won't die without them. Would be a loss, but not the end of the world.

I personally think as a NEW-ish member this place is shite hot, i love the banter, the good laughs etc.... Its a good place to come to and let off some steam!! Same old we're going up/bound to relegated crap , people slagging each other off just for the sake of it, it had become a bit of a bore. When it gets like that it's best to have a few weeks off. If you start to miss it, come back, if not you'll know you've made the right decision.

That's a good idea that, take a break and chances are they'll want to come back.

But seriously, we do have an interesting mix pf people on here, a well-run, neat forum and good posts. This is still a rather young forum and it is and will always be developing further on (as long as it exists). So far, I'd say the mods have done a good job at keeping down the amount of spam posters on a minimum. Keep it up, lads and lasses!
