FilboFox Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Pff... MF will be back... he just wants the attention.
The People's Hero Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Why would he come back? To read the exact same view of 100+ fu ckwits who want Holloway out due to a few poor performances? To continue to read endless threads which start out interesting but get skewed on to Alan fu cking Shee han? Half of what he and I post is deleted just for the sake of it. It does make you wonder why you bother. I've made a lot of friends on here, which is why I come on. It's social. I like reading their posts. When it gets to the point where everyone is slagging you off (for no reason) and anything you post in response gets deleted, that gets tiresome. If Master Fox has had that (as I have) then fair play to him. The standard of posting on here right now is diabolical. If a number of us (who use this place fairly socially and could get our LCFC news fix elsewhere) left, this place would be seriously fu cked. It's only as good as the people who use it. In Master Fox, it's lost a good one and it will lose more. It's melodramatic, but it's also the truth. Wonder which moderator will get to this to delete it first.
MPH Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 You should be a Admin though ! Your being given a bad name and why ? You are by far the best poster on this forum and with over 20,000 post should get a little respect. If you leave this forum, this forum will go down quicker then Leicester. And Jose i shall not be posting in the Leicester forums untill after may. When we are down and playing league 1 football. not picking sides, here but with 500 posts can you really say what his 21,000 posts were about? i cant even say really and i have over 2,000.. My point simply is that maybe stuff happened or was said before you were around. Maybe it wasnt. Either way.. drawing battle lines and picking sides is hardly going to help the forum... i just dont see how it helps anyone

The lines have not been drawn as such, but heavily hinted at by the powers that be.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 There's sides? Do I HAVE to choose one? Cos if it's all the same, I'd really rather just be me. Thank you.
Brainy Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 not picking sides, here but with 500 posts can you really say what his 21,000 posts were about? Those 500 posts plus whatever ashlcfc17 posted in his time. Still, you're right.

Daggers Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 The internet is not serious - look, I found a picture of a small person for us to laugh at just to prove it...

And to think I was told off and had a post removed for mentioning that I was setting a City website. Foxestalk is good enough for everyone we dont need another' or words to that effect were used. I just read the posts I want to and ignore others. I dont want to get involved in playground squabbles. Just because City are crap at the moment everyone seems to be miserable and picking arguments. Come on why dont you just kiss and make up? (You don't have to use tongues)

LeeCovFox Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Why this sudden outbreak of angst on here? Personally, and this is comng from a new poster, I think we are pretty lucky to have a forum with the banter and discussion that can be had on these boards. I've heard mentions, sarcatically or not I'm not sure, of the "good old days". I don't really care. Because this is the board we have now and its not going to go back is it? As far as I can work out, there is some bad blood about Mod and Forum Leader appointments. Is it really that bad an idea to give new people a go at doing this? Before letting people have it, I would suggest allowing people the time and space to actually do the job rather than criticising them before they have even had a chance to get going. If people really think that some of the appointments are that bad, it really is tough luck. If they prove to be as misguided as some people believe, then I'm sure they will fall on their own swords in time. If there are people who express views which I find distasteful, I will either tell them so, or ignore them. What I won't do is spend time waging vendettas. Frankly, I have a life outside of the internet and I don't have time to waste the energy on petty virtual fights. The last couple of days has been dominated by the fall out over these appointments. They are not going to change, and personally I think such annoyance should stay private. Pm an admin, and register your disapproval if you must. But do it once and once only. But don't expect any changes to be made on that basis. Because the forum cannot run like that. Can we just get back to being a proper forum? I'm not sure if anybody has noticed but City have a match tonight.
