filbertboy Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 I was happy too, as i had a bet on Hume to score firstgoal and Leicester to win 4-0 @250/1. Only had 50p on it though but still got £125, so i was very pleased. I was more impressed with the win though. I thought Humes free kick went in afew minutes before the end and would've made it 5-0, but to be honest i wouldn't mind losing the bet as long as Leicester won by as many goals as possible. HUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMEEE well done mate a very brave forecast !! you deserve your cash as much as city did the points !!!
Guest Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Obviously, my high point had to be not having idiot kid throw his fizzy pop in my ear this week. Don't be so harsh on the poor kid; he needs all the calories he can get, and your ear wax just isn't a suitable accompaniment to Pepsi.

clazkel Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 £125.50 Yeah, it was £125.50 but didn't mention the extra 50p. I thought it would take ages when i went to collect it in Ladbrokes as i gave it in at Ladbrokes in Corby and normally they ring up for authorisation but i was surprised as she put the details in the computer and gave me the dosh straight away. I always do mad bets, i put 4-0 coz of the odds and it was about time Leicster stuffed someone, and i am a massive Hume fan and really wanted him to score!
Bert Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Against none other than the scum of the earth.Hope Wednesday stuff them on Tuesday (no pun intended). Surely we'd want a draw?

I put one quid on it and that was my drinks sorted for the evening.
Daggers Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Aside from having 4 teenage boys coming to see you? No doubt they all benefited from the booze-fuelled views I was able to offer. Next week I plan on using a flip-chart, a giant protractor and glove puppet that looks like Shaun Newton riding a vole.

AoWW Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Aside from having 4 teenage boys coming to see you?Pffft. Bugger, I assumed you'd all come to see me and, on discovering I'd snuck off to buy a pastie, felt obliged to speak to Daggers instead.

lildave3 Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Aw, I'd have happily done that for you. That's not a wise thing to say. I know where you sit. I'm always after hot dogs.
