Jon the Hat Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Dead in the water. What do they mean not good enough??
Super Arj Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Dead in the water. What do they mean not good enough?? pricks they need a slap and i hope chelsea get relegated soon
dandannieldanok Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Dead in the water. What do they mean not good enough?? That's quite funny actually Hopefully it will be a kick up the backside for Holloway and the players.
Joe. Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Bloody hell. He could have made the difference, seriously.
Smudge Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 But Holloway told BBC Radio Leicester: "We have now been told we can't have him. Chelsea do not want to let him go to a team that's where we are. Why Holloway has to report it in that way or even at all beggers belief. Another public shaming of the team and an embarassment for the club; this man has the political guile of Derek Trotter.
Corky Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 We're not good enough hey? Bet they were saying that with two minutes to go at Stamford Bridge in October, and their quadruple hopes were falling apart. Of course Qpr are fighting it out for promotion aren't they?
Fox You Forest Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Why Holloway has to report it in that way or even at all beggers belief. Another public shaming of the team and an embarassment for the club; this man has the political guile of Derek Trotter. What a plonker!
Joe. Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Surely the main thing is to get first team football for him? And like others have said, at the time Plymouth and QPR especially were hardly setting the league alight were they? Although saying that, they're probably expecting somebody in and around the playoffs to come in for him. There's surely got to be more interest than just us in all of this?

Bet they were saying that with two minutes to go at Stamford Bridge in October, and their quadruple hopes were falling apart.Of course Qpr are fighting it out for promotion aren't they? Well a few more wins will put them in the play-off frame so yes they could well be.
Babylon Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Why Holloway has to report it in that way or even at all beggers belief. Another public shaming of the team and an embarassment for the club; this man has the political guile of Derek Trotter. Hardly.
ronnup Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 why send him here to run up and down a spud field watching the ball get hoofed back and fourth? Really can't blame em. we are too shit.
Smudge Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Hardly. Presumably the response from Chelsea that "we weren't good enough"' was a private conversation. Why would he make it public, what's the advantage? He slights his team publicly and gives all others, the opportunity to crow.
RizLCFC Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 We don't want him, Chelsea are just being twats, I hope he breaks his leg next week, how can they see we are not good enough, okay results and position in the table back them up on that, but, surely he has a chance of being a star player in our team, if he went to a team vying for play offs they already probably have Sinclairs quality of players if not better, am appaulled that Chelsea had to slag us off in this way, they could have just rejected our interest rather than slating us, there star studied line up nearly lost to us and would have if it wasn't for misfit Sheva, and, also Martin O'Neill when is he going to loan Osbourne to us, we need someone like him asap and we've had to wait since January 10th and still no sign of him, Martin snapped up a couple of midfielders in January and he still holds onto him, what a nerd he's turning out to be!
Nath Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 So bad, that near enough their 1st team only beat us by the 1 goal, at their gaff.

It's the response I personally had been expecting from Chelsea, and one anyone without an ounce of sense would have also. Once again people are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Joe. Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 We don't want him Yes we do. We're desperate for a player like him.

Exactly........and to no advantage, so why did he mention it.
Simi Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 We don't want him, Chelsea are just being twats, I hope he breaks his leg next week Some of the most stupid words I've read in a while. It doesn't say anything about Sinclair not wanting to come to us, it was Chelsea's decsion. Why would they want to send a good talent to us anyway? We seem to have murdered off plenty of it already. We'd know doubt just damage his career. If I didn't support Leicester I'd say this was a good decsion from Chelsea.
Babylon Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Exactly........and to no advantage, so why did he mention it. Why not.. what's it matter. It's hardly earth shattering news that we aren't in with a shout of the play offs.
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Oh Well thats the end of that one.... We just aint good enough....
Bryn Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Agree with the people saying why did he report it like this... Chelsea have every right to be as selective as that and Ollie didn't need to make it public because I'm sure they wouldn't have done. Unprofessional.
