STUHILL Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 FFS Will everyone just leave Holloway alone!!!!!!!!!! He just told us why Chelsea didnt want to send him here. I prefer the honest answers! The guys in the media a lot, so fooking what, at least we always know whats going on and exact reasons why. As for Sinlair not coming, well the odds were stacked against us, I can see him going to another London club. Shame because the Hungarians arent consistent enough so far. I think if Ollie had of had bit of luck, we would have both Sinclair and that Kieran Lee dude here as well as the Hungarians. I still think Ollie needs to bring more wingers in on loan, maybe look at some other prem youngsters.
lavrentis Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 What a load of twats at Chelsea, they want him to go to a team with a chance of promotion, well if they have a chance og getting promoted surely they are happy with the team they have?
DanTheFox07 Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 has anyone thought that they might be pissed off because we didnt sell mattock to them?
Guest Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 has anyone thought that they might be pissed off because we didnt sell mattock to them? Wasn't it West Ham that made a bid for Mattock?
Shrenchel Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 So bad, that near enough their 1st team only beat us by the 1 goal, at their gaff. Why are people saying stuff like this?!?! This whole forum is just thousands of posts about how shit we are, Chelsea just think the same thing. The fact we had one good game a few months back doesn't change how bad we are now.

shen Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I have to agree with Chelsea here.. We probably would've just turned him into another Ryan Smith. In fact, every new arrival at this club seem to have initial success and then gets sucked into the misery. So much for a "positive atmosphere", 'ey Ian?
davieG Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 Charlton have completed the signing of Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair, who has joined the Addicks on loan for the rest of the season. A number of clubs including Plymouth and Leicester City had also been tracking the talented winger but the Addicks have won the race for his signature. Sinclair has admitted other clubs were in the running but jumped at the chance to sign for Charlton as it give him the opportunity to stay in the London area. "I'm really excited to be here," Sinclair told Charlton's official website. "I've come here to get more experience, and I want to keep playing and get some goals for the club. "There were a few clubs in for me, but I thought Charlton would be the right one for me and I'm sure I've made the right choice."

I think it's a sensible move, Leicester would have only knocked his confidence and bring him to our shit level!!!
Joe. Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 Gutted we missed out on him really. He would have made a huge difference to this team.
Babylon Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 Gutted we missed out on him really. He would have made a huge difference to this team. I'd make a huge difference to this team.
lildave3 Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 Not surprised really, can't blame him, or Chelsea, either.
davieG Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 I'd make a huge difference to this team. I doubt anyone would make a difference so you may as well have your chance Babs. We've just got to hope that we can pick up enough points playing exactly as we have done for the last 3+ years we're not going to suddenly find a midfielder who could single handedly cross the divide between our midfield and forwards - we'd need a Guiness Book record breaker for that!
Darkzzz_ Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 Yeah i can't blame him for going to them. We would ruin any player at the moment.
MC Prussian Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 (Realizing he's been a bit late with the discovery)
shen Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 I'd make a huge difference to this team. Yes, but Sinclair could've made a huge POSITIVE difference to the team Good signing for Charlton though. It feels strange to envy other teams around us. I'm really not used to that...
Simi Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 (Realizing he's been a bit late with the discovery) It confused me at first with the merge.
