Most importantly - do we get to switch the Kop and the Family Stand yet?

While we're here lets talk about the goal celebration music...

how much would the strengthening work needed cost? if its only a few 100k we should do it cus we'd make more from concerts

Surely the renovations will be needed if we are to hold World Cup games at the ground...

Am I the only one concerned about this!

However, a bid to hold fairgrounds on the club car park was turned down.

5 years of shite at the Walkers I've put up with and the only thing that has kept me going was the thought that at least we will get a fair now and again.

I'm so gutted about this!!!

Just hope if there is ever a fairground, the stadium is well guarded especially the lead flashing! ( that's lead as in heavy metal)

Are you joking? Goal celebration MUSIC must now be banned unless you want the stadium crumbling underneath you!

Alternatively the stands could be fitted with Royal Blue carpet, could be a good time for MM to do a really good deal, Allied Carpets have today gone into receivership.

Looks like we've missed a trick - Tigers now proposing to host concerts.

Lee Hoos was in the business section of the Mercury several weeks back and said we would not be paying the 200k+ to sort out the ground. He said with his experience of doing concerts St Marys, he knew how little the club would make from it, and that it just wasn't worth it.

Either way, Tigers can still only hold concerts of 14 k like us. They will only hold big concerts when the ground is completed in about 8 years!!!!

Glad we're not hosting any concerts. Though it would be funny seeing Kevin getting his knickers in a twist over all the standing and dancing at a concert in seated areas..

As has already been said I just don't understand how standing during football is so forbidden and dangerous as opposed to standing at a gig in the seated areas, then you could get crushes on the pitch, you're allowed to drink during the gigs, people smoke....

Us football fans must be all be well rough, hard, vulnerable to kicking off, and liability's, as opposed to people at gigs getting tanked and drugged up....

My parents had tickets to go see Status Quo when they were supposed to be playing at the bowl. The reason they were told the concert was cancelled was because it was supposed to be a three day event and they could only fill two days so it wasn't worth hosting.

Hah! We all knew the real reason was because the walkers is shodily built
