Babylon Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 If we win, I want saints to win as it will cut Cov adrift... if we lose or draw, then a draw would be best!!
lildave3 Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 I've been saying for the past couple of weeks Cov are in the most danger (aside from us obbviously) of going down.
Koke Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 Saints are in more danger than Cov me reckons. Cov are better than them and plus they have an easier fixture list.

Rodders Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Could've been worse in the end. Wednesday, Covscum, Southampton - draws all round. Shame we couldn't manage a point of our own, but we're still out of the relegation zone. Just. On goal difference. And Wednesday have 2 games in hand. Ah...
tartanowl Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 We were robbed of 2 points today. Very hard to take. Another great performance from the boys but it feels like a defeat after the late goal.
davieG Posted 22 March 2008 Author Posted 22 March 2008 We gave 3 points away, we're generous to a fault; I think the Football Legue should let us stay up because there isn't a more generous team around than us, we set a good example to the kids of today in this point grabbing society of ours.

I agree infact i think they should promote us and never let us get relegated, make us automatically win every game and win the league time and time again

Thracian Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Doesnt look good for the Saints!!! Surely we have hope there!!! Compared to our run in!!! Southampton are our biggest hope. But not if we don't do anything to help ourselves.
Maybes Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 If we dont beat Sheff Weds, Scunny and Colchester we simply dont deserve to be in this league.
Thracian Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 If we dont beat Sheff Weds, Scunny and Colchester we simply dont deserve to be in this league. Three wins in six games Maybes. Are you high on something?
Fox You Forest Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 I just have a feeling that it will be Southampton, If they do re-appoint Rupert Lowe down and dirty it just proves there happy going backwards.
Maybes Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Three wins in six games Maybes. Are you high on something? No just stating that we dont deserve to stay up if we cant beat the 3 teams below us
tartanowl Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Hull stayed up with 49 points last season. That is definitely not going to be enough this year. Wednesday Stoke Home - 0 points Coventry Home - 3 points S****horpe Away - 1 point Sheff Utd Away - 0 points Plymouth Home - 1 point Blackpool Away - 1 point Leicester Away - 1 point Norwich Home - 3 points That should see us safe.
Ric Flair Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 52 points even won't be enough IMO. We need 3 more wins, and the 3 home games are all winnable, but whether we win them is a different story. We have such an easy run-in on paper, as Maybes said, if we don't get those 3 wins then we deserve to go down. Even the away games don't fill me with fear.
The People's Hero Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 I'd be more confident if we were playing teams in the top six rather than the bottom six. For what it's worth, Mark Robins is sat beside me nodding in agreement. At least I think it's in agreement... there is a chance he has that disease where you shake a lot.

So would I, but that aside, if we don't pick up at least 3 wins in our remaining 6 games given who we have to play then we deserve everything that comes our way. There's more pain and anguish to come before this is all decided, I just want it over and done with.
Ric Flair Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 The shitters have got massive problems scoring goals and their strikers are all either off form, injured or suspended. It's looking doubtful as to whether Coleman will get anyone in on loan either, so that might see a return of Kevin Kyle who has abused their fans recently in the papers. I really would love it if they were to drop, Plymouth need to do us a favour after us taking Holloway and Hayles off their hands and them ending up with Sturrock and a few goal scorers. We need them to destroy Poventry.

The standard mark for relegation is around 50. 3 wins would give us 53 points. Do you think thats more than enough or not?
Koke Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 Southampton will get us out of jail. They are atrocious and their fixture list is absolute scary. Without being biased, I reckon coming towards the last 3 games, it'll be a two horse race between Saints and Coventry.
