Grand Slam Sunday

Is this just a quirk of the computer or is it something they programme in to ensure it happens, if i remember we had one of these last year.

If it is pre-set then it's another nail in the coffin of football where the situation is manipulated to maximise the revenue of the big clubs, kowtowing to Sky rather than the needs of supporters and reflects who they expect to be the top 4 teams in March.

Well i'm looking forward to a great Sunday of football.
Yep, same here.

Beats wigan v bolton.

Well your great Sunday of 'armchair' football means that the fans of these clubs have yet more games moved from 3.00pm on a Saturday, but as long as you're ok

i think Sky can ask for this once or twice a season , happens every year so gotta be more to it than coincidence

I'm sure it wont be a shock to the system when they play Chelsea Dagger if we score doen't make it acceptable though - does it?

(Mind you it might be a shock if we score :P )

I actually am looking forward to both these games but I think everyone has the same idea of them being total letdowns as per and probably ending up 0-0 or 1-0.

Man Utd 1 Liverpool 0

Chelsea 0 Arsenal 0

When do United or Liverpool EVER play at 3pm on a Saturday?

United have had one home game all season played at 3pm.

I can't see it being down to luck. As you say the cash cow that is Sky have manipulated the fixtures for their own gain.

Next thing you know we'll be playing sport on Easter Sunday :unsure:
