LCFC123 Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_3906766,00.html wolves have offered him a short-term deal
Ultra Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 1) It's what I'll remember him for - it was a premditated act of thuggery to break another man's leg and end his career. If you're happy to accept that in football good for you.2) He played for Manchester United alongside internationals galore. Not sure if you can spot the difference between the two clubs but Leicester aren't gonna get league title winners for some time matey. I don't condone what he did to Haaland - but knowing the history between them I can understand why it happened. I remember Steve Walsh breaking someone's jaw and being banned for 12 games. He's still rightly regarded as a City legend though. And to say Keane had nothing to do with Man Utd's success during his time there takes absurdity to new limits.
Joe_LCFC Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 too bad Wolves have offered him a short contract then isn't it otherwise he'd have been a good signing for us

David Geddis, first games of season defeat to Shrewsbury, happy days. Yep - I'll remember him for the 99 Semi Final against Juve when he almost single handedly got them into the final, even though he'd been booked and knew he'd miss the final. He may be a cock, but you've got to agree with Ultra, awesome player.
Ric Flair Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 too bad Wolves have offered him a short contract then isn't itotherwise he'd have been a good signing for us If we offered him a longer deal, he might reject them.
J.Lisemore Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 If we offered him a longer deal, he might reject them. dont think hes the kind of guy to take a drop to league one football really.
wellsy Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 dont think hes the kind of guy to take a drop to league one football really. Yeah. Short term deal, guessing he is the best payed player
Charnwood Norris Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 I wouldn't want Harte here. It's like looking forward to a donut only to realize it's gone stale. It would be another Carl Cort disaster - a decent player in his early 20's who's form drops like a led weight once they reach 25, 26.
louie0316 Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 BBC HAVE REPORTED HE HAS TURNED DOWN SHORT TERM CONTRACT AT WOLVES APPARANTY MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT
lookwhaticando Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 WOW THAT'S ACTUALLY INCREDIBLE! But is there really any need to shout?
bigneville Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 BBC HAVE REPORTED HE HAS TURNED DOWN SHORT TERM CONTRACT AT WOLVES APPARANTY MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT BBC ^^ Source ^^
Daggers Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 BBC^^ Source ^^ If there's enough about him he'd have been offered a reasonable contract. Anyone offered a month2month isn't good enough for my team.
FleckneyFox Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 We surely must pursue him! I think all we need now are a Left back and a Striker and Ian Harte is one of the best available Left backs.
Jon the Hat Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 We surely must pursue him! I think all we need now are a Left back and a Striker and Ian Harte is one of the best available Left backs. On what basis? CL Semi final years aog??
FleckneyFox Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 On what basis? CL Semi final years aog?? The basis that he has alot of International games under his belt, has played La Liga and Champions League footy aswell as playing in the Premier League last season, he takes a wicked free kick and at 30 he's not that old?
Daggers Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 On what basis? CL Semi final years aog?? Yes - he'll make an ideal partner for N'Gotty at right back...the league will simply quake in awe at their collective history.
CupidStunt Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 dont rate him, everytime i saw us play against leeds,he was shite
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 I wonder whether Mr Harte will now be joining us?
teblin Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 I wonder whether Mr Harte will now be joining us? Something you heard? would make sense.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Something you heard?would make sense. It's an option, he's obviously looking for a permanent deal, it all depends on how desperate city are, other options and the length of the deal!!!
Joe. Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Makes sense at times like these I suppose. Wouldn't surprise me at all...
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair.
